What is 1958-style voting? What’s wrong with 2022-style voting?

Because one is a violent hate crime murder and the other is one of the core bases of a democratic republic.

Also, can we just take a minute to appreciate the organizational jujutsu here?

that Arizona House Speaker Rusty Bowers (R) had effectively sunk his bill by assigning it to all 12 House committees for consideration.

That’s the kind of legislative close combat that would have brought a smile to LBJ’s face.

Must be a hanging chad reference. Otherwise, I got nothing.

Yeah, that choice of 1958 … so what, exactly, changed after that point, I wonder?

He was asked in an interview by a local television station about what he meant by “1958-style voting.” He said that mail-in ballots absent voter ID was the largest source of fraud in the last election. The report pointed out that several election audits have detected no large-scale election fraud in Arizona.

Combine that with his lynching comment and, yes, he’s just a big fat white racist with a walrus mustache.
