This is a never ending audit because the auditors are obligated to investigate every conspiracy theory that the cranks on QAnon forums dream up. Also the Ninjas have no incentive to wrap this up. They want to keep the gravy train rolling.

Which of course is not a thing. There is no such thing as voluntarily calling certified electors back. You can’t ‘decertify’ electors 6 months after a new President is elected. December 8 was the safe harbor to be delivered U.S. Archivist as a certification of the states electors on December 14.

That’s the thing. There’s far more methods of accountability than a double entry accounting system. The claim that 40,000 ballots came from China. There’s no way to stip them in without it throwing numbers way off. Everything done is checked, double-checked and then sealed in the presence of a county official, a democrat, a Republican and an independent observer.
You don’t need to count every ballot unless things are off. If they’re off by 2-3 ballots you look to see what the difference is and reconcile it. Maybe a ballot stuck to the bottom of a box or fell behind a desk.
If they understood how these things work, none of these theories would make any sense.
They don’t care how things work. The only purpose is to baffle the rubes and to provide cover for laws that will prevent democrats from voting and/or from having their votes counted.

There’s no way the GQP-controlled state legislature is going to appropriate enough funding for a 1-to-1 replacement of machines or even for a sufficient number of replacement machines to avoid a complete fucking shitshow in Maricopa in 2022. They are positively salivating over the opportunity this represents to generate complete mayhem for the people they view as their enemy in 2022.
According to news reports, before he was kicked out of the audit Ken Bennett handed over some data to Benny White (and others) for analysis.
Benny et. al. have finished writing their report and it will be public in a couple of days. It will not be kind to the Cyber Ninjas.
Benny is a Tucson Republican who has worked in elections for years and knows the process. He previously told the auditors that if they brought him any unopened box of ballots from Maricopa County he could tell them, without looking inside it, exactly what votes it contained. They refused his help.
The report will likely say that “The official results announced in November were correct and complete.” It will also say that they “have verified that we have a qualified elector for every ballot that was counted and have also verified that every vote mark on every ballot was reported correctly.”
I suspect the report will also contain serious, possibly detailed criticism of the Cyber Ninja audit.

It reminds me of the Ronnie Raygun days when he realized he couldn’t shut down the EPA, so he cut their funding by half, or tried to. Obviously the EPA is still around.
