AR Guv Calls Trump’s Unemployment Benefit ‘Challenging’

In the aftermath of President Donald Trump’s flurry of executive actions — almost all of which overpromise and under-deliver — some Republican governors are admitting how difficult it will be for states to contribute their 25 percent of the weekly unemployment insurance benefit.

Wasn’t it an unconstitutional slop? Just ask Ben Sasse!

Most of that is done at the county and municipal level, but its definitely happening, with a lot more of it to come.

Florida’s local revenues are crashing and burning, since so much of it is dependent upon bed taxes and sales taxes, largely generated by tourism. Next legislative session is going to be a nightmare, trying to deal with a budget.

Trump’s so-called executive orders are merely theater, diversion, political masturbation, empty, illegal and raw meat for deplorables. One might call his orders “fake.”

Meanwhile, Arkansas, like many states grappling with the COVID-19 pandemic and resulting economic slowdown, is dealing with a significant budgetary shortfall.

Looks like someone needs to tell Moscow Mitch and Mango Mussolini that a pandemic is not just a blue state problem.

And if a whole bunch of renters can’t vote because they haven’t been able change their address in a timely manner, or better yet, have no address at all and no time to go through the process to vote as a homeless person - well, the more money you have, the more likely you are to vote for the GOP.

There will be so much winning. For Trump.

Just one more example of the shear stupidity of Trump and his gang of thieves.

They have no clue how real government runs, so why do we think they are able to understand the ‘mechanics’ of getting anything done. All of the intelligent ones have left to save their souls or their reputations, so only the dregs are left.

This is what happens in poorly run companies who eventually just go bankrupt. (hmmm)

But, this is our government, now in shambles, because Trump is just fucking stupid.

Would take months to get it working and they don’t have the funds for it, and because its also illegal what states are even going to bother spending all the time and effort for something they can’t afford and is likely not going to be there by the time they are setup to even try it, if they even had the money to.

The EO’s were never meant to actually do anything, the purpose of them was to try to change the attention of them blocking the house bill that actually does help.

Was thinking along the same lines last night. Also, they wouldn’t receive their mailed ballots if they have no address.

“Trump evictions” and “Trump foreclosures”.

There is one eviction notice that I am eagerly awaiting, however, and it’s for the current deadbeat occupant of 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue.

Talk about a nightmare tenant.

So Hutchinson thinks the Federal Treasury is just a money tree he can shake when he needs some cash.

Screw Hutchinson. He was a prime mover in the Clinton impeachment. But save the good people of Arkansas.

Challenging? Is that the Arkansas equivalent of a Susy Collins “concerned”?

“Would the funds be replenished?”

Republicans simply cannot help themselves. IF they were going to be replenished- trump wouldn’t be demanding states chip-in in-the-first-place.

What an idiot Asa and every idiot GOP governor is:They can’t even pay for basic services without Federal Gov-ment help now.
They should ask all the states and vendors trump has never paid.

Gov. Asa Hutchinson (R-AR)…Gov. Brian Kemp (R-GA)…Gov. Jim Justice (R-WV)…

I’m sick and tired of these lazy, shiftless, uppity, red-state “rurals” sucking Uncle Sugar’s teat!

Why should hardworking, blue-state taxpayers fund their intergenerational cycle of White dependency?

Maybe they should get jobs instead of sitting around listening to their Country-Western boom boxes!

All 50 states allow homeless individuals (people without permanent physical addresses) to vote. But, a mailing address is required although it does not have to be your own just where you can get mail- even the Post Office General Delivery. However, it can get complicated because states do require some type of ID in order to Register.( Physical addresses are typically used to make sure the voter is voting in their correct districts for local/state candidates.)
