This seems kind of back-assward. Shouldn’t the questions be asked by the prosecutor in front of the grand jury; if there’s an objection to a particular question, make it; then the prosecutor can file a motion to compel for particular questions and let the court decide on each one. It’s tedious, sure, but how can the District Court actually rule, except in broad categories, if that, before the questions are asked and the context for the questions established?
So, yeah, this is a good play for the 11th Circuit to add one more layer of delay. Because the objections to individual questions will happen anyway once it finally get to that point.

I think people are required to enter and answer grand jury questions without their lawyer. Rudy Giuliani did so. They can go out and consult with their attorney after each and every question. But, the grand jurors are watching and can decide he is a lying weasel. He also may be required to take the Fifth Amendment any number of times.
The remand to the judge who already refused to quash the indictment for further clarification, will allow Lindsey Graham some amount of preview of what he will be asked, and will probably result in another appeal.

Keep in mind that this DA, Fani Willis, made her bones by bringing RICO cases… She sees the RICO laws as a way for Fulton Count and the State of GA to bring slimy defendants to justice.
As you follow these arguments about the subpoenas being issued to Trump’s toadies go back and re-read that Vice article from July that argues that this flurry of court filings in GA looks an awful lot like the beginnings of a RICO case. Then do a google search for ‘Trump RICO GA’ …
This really could just be the opening act that sees Trump bankrupt the Republican party

Jesus. I knew it was bad, but this is ridiculous. The Ukrainians have three big advantages: 1) they are defending their home, 2) they are professional and organized and have REAL leadership from Zelensky on down, and 3) they have us and NATO, and we are giving them some pretty clever and lethal stuff to fight back with.
The Russians just have conscripts, brute force and Putin. It does not appear to be working for them, and this guy explains why. Putin will face a lot of backlash back home if they can’t do better than this.

And around 1,000 low-yield “battlefield” tactical nuclear weapons. Putin hasn’t used them yet, which means he probably isn’t going to, unless Ukraine makes a serious push into Russian territory instead of just hitting military targets here and there.

Graham’s entire existence on this earth has been to have reached a social position where he can BE a certified zero and not have to answer for it in a way that most of us would have to do were we to have had the misfortune to be like him.
