The thing is…most of us didn’t start off as Biden supporters. We just know what we must do now to rid ourselves of Trump.

I got lazy with the hype about Ocasio’s initials and lazy fingers on the keyboard. But normally I refer to her as “Ocasio”, in my conversations with friends and associates.
In fact, when I first learned about her, it took time to get the initials into an association with her at all.
I’m wondering if AOC tried to convey this message privately, and, if so, if she was rebuffed. I would think that would have been the first approach.
She better reconcile herself to the challenges of that conundrum mighty fast . She has the opportunity to a strong functioning part of the plan to retake the nation … or she can give petulant mediocre half hearted effort. … I hope she is smart enough to know which one will enable her to have more sway in a Biden Administration.

Bernie and AOC are replaying a game petulant children engage in when they are behind:“I quit I win.” She is in some ways a savvy pol, but occasionally can’t see the forest for the trees. Now is not the time for factionalism and public demands to weaken Biden by making him seem captive to the demands of the left. I can’t imagine a dumber strategy than this public airing of demands. It’s time for Nancy to have another talk with AOC and explain politics to her. The GOP is salivating at the prospect of painting Joe as enfeebled captive to Bernie and the “far left” (their terms). Don’t fall for that trap.

Sure, but her BATNA is a second Trump term, so either her gaslighting and hostage-taking is all bluff and can be safely disregarded, or she’s a reckless nihilist and you’d be a fool to trust any agreement you might negotiate with her.

I think she is right in a lot of respects as far as what Biden needs to do. I do have an issue how she loudly and publicly proclaimed it with a “Biden-Bashing” subtext.
We don’t need that right now. THAT is NOT an example of bringing the party together.
