Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez on Monday slammed President Donald Trump’s racist comments telling her and fellow progressive Democrats to “go back” to where they came from.
Trump’s tweets were the written version of the “speak English, you don’t belong here, you should be deported” rant videos that are becoming sadly ubiquitous.
The more relevant reponse is to tell Twitler to fuck off. AOC, Tlaib and Pressley were all born in the United States. He has simply revealed himself to the world to be a bigoted, despicable excuse for a human being.
Yes, Trump’s attacks are racist. They are calculated to give his base an emotional reason for voting for him and to bake it in. Their lives are certainly not better as promised, but they can take a little pain in order to keep America’s haters out of power. They don’t see it as racist at all.
Remember, Trump only hires the “Best CRIMINALLY-inclined People”…
So it only follows that Trump cares enough to send the very best racists, bigoted, white supremacists words to his perceived enemies!
In so doing, Trump shows to the world that he is an IGNORAMUS and UNAMERICAN because America “before Trump” was a NATION of IMMIGRANTS and it will be a nation of immigrants “after Trump”!
One can only hope that in the “after Trump” era, Individual1 is either jailed or exiled.
It’s almost as if he’s doing this to deflect from:
His crimes against humanity at the border
The next shoe to drop re Epstein
His mishandling of Iran, (NKorea, Putin, China, all of South America…)
Or the scariest of all —
New travesty we haven’t heard of YET
His mouthing off about people of color is not exactly shocking, but it is being treated as such. I want to Thank him for getting the Democrats back into the same boat again.
No they don’t and I don’t care - makes them racists too and as long as the majority of us is not racist, that’s all that matters. I do not give a damn about his voters. They are a complete lost cause.
I, too, miss the days when people would spontaneously burst into song, accompanied by James Burton.
Fun Fact: Ricky Nelson didn’t bother to learn his lines on “The Adventures of Ozzie and Harriet.” That’s why he’s always seen looking in drawers, etc., where he has hidden bits and pieces of the script.
