I’m not so sure that would matter to them. There is a centuries-long tradition in this country of white men having the right to sexually assault women of color. It might matter even less to the base than an accusation from a white woman. It wouldn’t be like he was wanting to marry a woman of color. It would “just” be groping and kissing her, so no biggie.

This story is similar to one I heard before the last election: woman went to US Open; she was standing on street waiting for man (boyfriend?) to pick her up in his car. Trump came up and put his hands on her. She was VERY unhappy; said his ‘posse’ was standing around just laughing at her discomfiture.
Don’t know if it’s the same story that’s now been told directly.

Yeah, sorry I thought about that after I posted. So I’ll revise my comment that it may peel off 1-3 people. Because that’s just too far for them.
I’m not sure how to reach his base. Because I think that most of these people won’t change their view/support of Trump because it will reflect poorly on them. They’re not going to admit that they were snookered by him and his Russian bot friends.
Caught part of “Hacking Your Mind” last night. The episode was on “Weapons of Influence”. It’s worth watching to see all the ways political campaign use social media to tailor their candidate to your perceptions of the world.

I don’t know why this matters, nobody gives a hoot about this woman trying to get attention 20 years later.
What I find most discouraging is that during this week Trump has reduced Biden lead by almost 3 points to 5.2 and and that probably means he will win. Apparently people were not affected by the “losers and suckers” comments and they don’t care that he lied to the public about Covid-19. But BS accusations that Biden is a Socialist and anti-police are hitting hard. The American public likes to be lied to.
