Another Woman Accuses Trump Of Sexual Assault: ‘He Shoved His Tongue Down My Throat’ | Talking Points Memo

Former model Amy Dorris has alleged that in 1997, then-real estate businessman Donald Trump “shoved his tongue” down her throat at a tennis tournament and ignored her plea for him to stop.

I bet even Ivana, Marla, and Melania aren’t surprised.

Very on-brand for the sexual assaulter in chief. Sounds like all the others -when you are a star they let you do it.

Trying to stay on my side of the line on this, but Trump’s “she’s not my type” defense may not be as effective here.

Trump once hit on a friend of mine at the Algonquin bar also in 1997. She was sitting at the bar having a toddy and reading when he came trolling through the bar chatting up women and doing his smarmy routine. “Girls who make passes…”
In 1997 he was in between bankruptcies, still married to Marla and maybe looked at the Algonquin as a purchase.

Gag me with a shovel. I think I’d be getting booster shots and updating my supply of antibiotics. I hope she checked for worms too. There’s no telling where Trump’s tongue has been.

Her then-boyfriend considered Trump to be his best friend? How sad is that?

When does Barr submit the extradition request to the Brits to bring her here under sedition charges for assaulting the honor of the president?

The Trump Cult doesn’t care. Possession of any woman he wants is the Leader’s right.

That’s approximately 26 public accusations at this point.

Why should anyone be surprised? Unless they’ve been living in a remote cave since early 2016, they must know that Trump himself described doing this sort of thing. For the people just emerging from the cave, these are his words, as spoken to Billy Bush in 2005 and caught on tape:

“I’m automatically attracted to beautiful women — I just start kissing them, it’s like a magnet. Just kiss. I don’t even wait. And when you’re a star, they let you do it. You can do anything. Grab 'em by the pussy."

Unfortunately, for his cultists, I think this enhances his image.

We all know this, but it bears repeating.

Goddamn monster.

Go clutch your pearls, American evangelicals! We are voting the monster out, and all of his cronies, and then the prosecutions start.

This will make no difference to the base. Trump’s base, both men and (sadly) women, believe that women should be sexually available to men at all times. We could get actual video of Trump raping a woman and his base would say, “That’s how you make America great again.” It’s why Kavanaugh - and Thomas, for that matter - is a SCJ.

The psychology behind this most likely speaks to unaddressed generational physical and sexual childhood abuse. As tragic as the cause may be, the results are deeply dangerous. Trump didn’t create his base. Trump’s base created Trump. The base is damaged, and their creation is an amplification of their twisted psychology.

EDIT: It’s been pointed out that this could make a difference to swing voters, suburban women, etc. All excellent points which I painted over with “This will make no difference.” I have qualified that assertion.

For young suburban moms, maybe not so much.

One would hope.

She must be one of those “moral busybodies” that Bill Barr was talking about.
