Alaska GOP Pledges To Find Primary Challenger For Murkowski For Convicting Trump In Impeachment Trial

But I don’t think Snowbilly Snooki has lived in Alaska for a decade.

She lost her midnight to 7:00 am waitressing job?

Fair enough. I don’t think it registered to me that any other state would take her.

Joe Miller it is then, I guess? Murkowski murdered him once. Guess it’s time to see if the dead stay dead.

Yeah, so when’s she gonna figure out the RadicalRacistReactionary Party just isn’t that into her anymore?

But it wasn’t just her lack of fealty to Trump that drew the ARP’s wrath, according to the resolution. Several of Murkowski’s other sins included: voting against repealing the Affordable Care Act, opposing limits on abortion, and supporting Rep. Deb Haaland’s (D-NM) nomination as the Biden administration’s interior secretary.

Who is going to tell the ARP that having SC Justice that favors your position on the bench out weighs and proposed legislation?

Again, that was over a decade ago. It was back when the GOP establishment was still a thing and trying to set itself apart from the batshit wing. Since then most of what was left of the even remotely sane/establishment GOPers are gone or are retiring.

They’ve already scheduled a pizza lunch to talk about it.

Good to know there’s another Emerson fan here in our little coterie.

I’m also fond of this one from him (which also would be good advice for sound-bite-addicted people of whatever sort): “I hate quotations. Tell me what you know.”

“I do not know where other people will be next year, but I know where I will be — in Alaska campaigning against a disloyal and very bad Senator.”

Yeah sure. F’ing Trump couldn’t even stand going to Erie.

Back in the 2016 primaries, she campaigned for him in Iowa, and it was pretty clear that she wanted to be part of all that–her supporters, anyway, gave her credit for Trump’s “Forgotten Man” bit, and they felt Trump insulted her by not giving her some prominent role in his administration (curiously, they thought that being his VP would be beneath her, but they thought she’d be a good fit as a secretary for veterans’ affairs).**

I read recently that she’s sold her house in AZ and has moved back to Alaska, so who knows? My strong sense of things, though, is that the good people of Alaska have had just about enough of her.

**(I know all this because I used to visit conservatives4palin.com (RIP) to see what those folks were up to. An ill-spent few years of my middle age.)

As usual for the addled GOP…on the terribly wrong side of a seemingly simple question…loyalty to an utter madman vs. Preservation of a historically successful republic…money…power…dominance…there is no deviation from this sickening drum beat…

“The Party hereby will recruit a Republican primary challenger to oppose and prohibit Senator Murkowski from being a candidate in any Republican primary to the extent legally permissible,”

Does former half term governor Caribou Barbie still spend sufficient time in the state that it is legally permissible to run?

There are no Republican primaries in Alaska, so your question is meaningless

Didn’t have time to watch it again right now, so I’m sure I forgot the details. I just remember Jon being on fire and me laughing my ass off.

Where would we find someone dumb enough to…oh, Wasilla.

Yes. Anyone who deserves support?

I don’t care whether it seems right now that the person cannot win next year.

[“She represents her state badly and her country even worse,” Trump said in a statement earlier this month. “I do not know where other people will be next year, but I know where I will be — in Alaska campaigning against a disloyal and very bad Senator.”]
