- Slobbering trump’s knob.
FedSoc is happy putting incompetent but reliable movement people into lower court positions, but SCOTUS is different. For SCOTUS, FedSoc wants reliability AND competence. Nobody respects the Cannon Clown Show.

As Atrios says, Cannon “can’t order Garland around” on releasing the report “any more than a Philly traffic court judge can sentence her to life in prison.”

I think you’re focused on outcomes. I’m looking at the pathetically implausible pretexts for the outcomes. The clown show, for me, is how utterly incompetent she is at justifying her outcomes. It’s dumber than if she just wrote “trump wins again, as always.” At least the latter would be honest.

Presidents never had the power to change those documents in their heads but now they have the absolute right to do anything—and I do mean ANYTHING they want to.
Take the hint, Joe! You survived all the pardons and GOPers hate you anyway. There isn’t any normal person in this country that wants this report to disappear…everyone wants to read it, and the gas-lighting has already reached a fever pitch.
They co-opted the Mueller Report. Don’t let them get away with it again.
Oh! Don’t forget that Garland released the report on you by that other special prosecutor.
This report is historically more important than any because this is a situation that can bring our country and its democracy down forever.

Honesty is utterly foreign to judge Cannon. Had she looked at history since the Civil War she would note that the SP is appointed by the AG and the Senate does not vote on any of that. She knows relevant law as I do (in my earlier post). She chose to ignore the law and pull an excuse out her ass. The DoJ does their own gig. They don’t tell the Senate how to run their business. Likewise the Senate stays out of what Justice does day to day.
