He’s speaking a language Republicans don’t understand. All they know is power and money.

Mr. Schiff goes to Washington. High drama and oratory of the first order. Kudos.

Our Democratic representatives make me so proud, not only to be a Democrat but to be an American. The Republican party has been called out and shamed in front of the American people. Let them suffer the consequences of their inaction.

Even some of the Rs expressed sympathy for Jerry and Mrs. Nadler. We’re better than that.

“Sen. Lisa Murkowski (R-AK) — seen at one point as a possible swing vote for new impeachment trial witnesses, a hope she quashed last week — said she would announce her intended vote on impeachment by the end of the day…”

The whole world stands still, in breathless anticipation.

Schiff is, bar none, the best orator in Congress in the past 100 years. Very likely, the greatest since Webster.

A gallery of rogues. And charlatans.

The stupid motherfuckers can’t hear past Schiff’s rhetoric–which they no doubt mocked, ignored, and fidget-spinnered through–to the absolute fucking GOP doom that he, but not they, can tell is coming.

There is a big difference between the Nadlers and Limbaugh. The Nadlers didn’t made themselves stinky rich by working up outrage in audiences and insulting political rivals. Limbaugh never restrained himself from making fun from others disgraces, if they were democrats or had dark skin.

So although I don’t usually do this kind of things, Rush Limbaugh earned an exception.

It is more about us as a people, right now.

(1) The Crimes Trump committed are real

(2) The GOP Senate is holding a “trial” with no witnesses

(3) The GOP Senate is eliminating the power of Congressional Oversight

All of our institutions…educational, fourth estate, commerce, etc. must come together and decry what Mitch McConnell and the Republican Senate have done.

  • Educational: We are explaining to students from Pre-School to Graduate and Professional School that this is un-American and wrong

  • Fourth Estate: We here, in essays, reports, and analyses, are informing the public that this is un-American and wrong

  • Commerce: We believe in laws applying to fair business practices, which rest on the ability of people to live under a fair and just, non-dictatorial, government

We the American People must never submit to tyranny, even when it is packaged as “gridlock in Congress”.

Trump escaped impeachment for this round, but his ventures into criminality will continue. Knowing that, maybe it’ll catch up with him and during his third term Congress will successfully remove him from office. Of course, that will bequeath us President Ivanka, so, oh well.

I just listened to it. It should be a speech remembered forever.

We might as well go ahead and say all the bad things that we all feel about Limbaugh now. Once he succumbs to the inevitable, the usual rules about speaking ill of the dead will be enforced. I’m more than willing to say that there is not one redeeming thing that I can find to say about this hate mongering liar. He has happily enriched himself for years by disgusting demagoguery, and by attacking those far more deserving of sympathy and understanding than himself.

Couldn’t happen to a nicer guy, as my father used to say.
