Abbott Falls For A Satirical Article About Garth Brooks Getting Booed For Being ‘Woke’ At Fake Festival

Texas Gov. Greg Abbott (R) was duped by a satirical news article about country singer Garth Brooks getting booed off stage for being too “woke” at a non-existent festival hosted in a non-existent Texas city.

The party of angry, dimwitted trolls who chomp down on even the most obvious bait. Can you imagine a world where these imbeciles are the only game in town? The world would end in a week, with everyone trying to prove who’s the most ignorant batshit knuckledragger.

But the catch, of course, is that the Texas Country Jamboree isn’t a real event and Hambriston, Texas does not exist.

Clearly in Texas, knowing your state is not a pre-requisite for the governorship.

“‘We’re not really looking forward to his opening,’ said Nashville Mayor Art Tubolls, ‘we expect there to be a lot of chaos, with leftists swarming the area to flash their fake breasts in front of children.’ Mayor Tubolls doesn’t want his city to be another San Fransisco, where drug addicts poop on veterans regularly before the city Narcans them and gives them free room and board,” the excerpt read.

Obviously, the mayor of Nashville is not Art Tubolls.

I was really looking forward to swarming leftists flashing their fake breasts.

Just one more link in the long chain of evidence that hard right wingers not only have zero sense of humor but are also incapable of recognizing satire or even irony. The only thing they seem to find funny is when pain and cruelty are inflicted on people they consider their inferiors.

I was disappointed to not get tickets to a Garth Brooks concert after standing in a parking lot line all night long once. I probably never will get to see him now. There must be a million or so fans like me that Brooks has never seen nor heard cheering for him.

Doesn’t Abbott have some govenor stuff to get power back on for Texans suffering a heat wave, or something?

Fools will believe anything they want to believe, true or not. Abbott is a damned fool, and he will believe damned lies.

The attacker who killed five people at an LGBT nightclub in Colorado last November has been sentenced to life in prison after pleading guilty to murder and attempted murder.
As part of a plea deal, the attacker was sentenced to five consecutive life sentences without the possibility of parole, as well as 46 consecutive 48 year sentences for the attempted murders.

In a related story Fox News is replacing Tucker with Jesse Watters.

Q: What has 87 legs and 21 teeth?

A: Front row at a Greg Abbott rally.

(adapted from an old Garth Brooks concert joke that I won’t tell anymore)

Clearly, it is not a pre-requisite for a job in the governor’s comms office.

Abbott knows Texas well enough that I very much doubt he was taken in. Some true-believing MAGA staffer? Definitely.

I trust your opinions and your knowledge when it comes to Abbott, and that worries me. From what you say about him, I worry that he could eventually join and then overtake the others in the republican primary race.

It’s just as I’ve always said. Abbott’s problem isn’t that he’s paralyzed from the waist down. It’s that he’s paralyzed from the neck up.
