This is just ONE little example of what will happen under a new Trump or Trump replacement. Some have called it “soft fascism”. And these “teams” always end up exceeding their charters and end up beating and torturing.

POTUS 45 Admin was literally recruiting storm troopers for the putsch/coup they were planning literally for years.

It seems that within the previous administration, paranoia was adequate justification for any number of irrational actions.

Frightening.

I wonder what Sarandon would say about Hillary to “even things up for Both Sides”?

Step 1- Create a reason for fear and outrage
Step 2- Talk about the fear and outrage everywhere you can
Step 3- Search for facts to support the fear and outrage you created
Step 4- Dig deeper while claiming the reason for the fear and outrage is being
hidden by Media and Democrats
Step 5- Send teams to interrogate and harass people you don’t like so you can
find evidence

This is the same kind of creep that has plagued the no fly list. Most effective if no one is able to find out whether the list exists of who is on it.

Next step: remember that the “border” extends 100+ miles inside US territory. Under a future administration expect detention of “flagged” individuals anywhere inside that zone. For a start.

When the GOP get into power they set up special units like this. See DHS, ICE, etc. When these bodies are founded they are staffed by GOP people, funded by GOP people, and I imagine vote in a bloc deliberately or otherwise. Another toehold for the Old South.

Like how they manage to have so many military facilities in parts of the country of no tactical significance, then name them after Confederate generals. Shows how deep the rot is -

Just picture a country where ProPublica was the primary source of news; not FAUX news.

We’re getting there, inch by inch. Approx 35% of our citizens view rump the way 1930’s Germans viewed Hitler – as a savior.

Dictatorship so many times comes to being in elections deemed as ordinary.

We had ample opportunity to see this man, hear this man and too many people who knew better either wasted their vote or did not vote at all.

Bonus: the majority of US citizens live within that 100 mile zone (because it includes the Atlantic and Pacific coastlines) and most of those areas vote Democratic. If TFG had been re-elected, that 100 miles would no doubt have been extended to 200 miles.

The biggest issue with that intrusion is that, although you have to have your driver’s license with you when you are driving a vehicle, there is no obligation for any citizen to carry identification of any kind when walking or riding (as a passenger) when outside their home. That makes “show your papers” laws really problematic particularly when the goons stop people on the highway and demand documentation when none is required.
