A Majority Of House GOPers Want To Oust Cheney From Leadership After Impeachment Vote | Talking Points Memo

Rep. Liz Cheney (R-WY) is staring down just over a majority of House Republicans who support toppling the No. 3 House Republican from leadership after she voted to impeach now-former President Trump for inciting a deadly insurrection at the U.S. Capitol earlier this month.

Hopefully Trump is not convicted at impeachment. His fat, slovenly, corrupt ass can haunt them for years to come as far as I’m concerned. Including thoroughly mucking up the GOP’s 2024 campaign calendar. He’ll represent a looming impediment to anyone but him making plans for the nomination.

So, exactly how long will these jackoff cowards be controlled by the threats they’re receiving from Trump’s people?

All Trump has to do to stop most of this, is admit that he lied.

Either that happens, or these spineless wimps are merely puppets to a madman.

Anyone think Roger Stone knows anything? Here’s one case where I hope he’s right.

“Bannon will be charged with money laundering along with another foreign-born individual soon,” Stone wrote in a post on his blog, Stone Cold Truth.

"We have differences of opinion about a whole range of issues, including about this one,” Cheney said Thursday on Fox News.

“…and our ‘differences’ run from feckless, clucking concern about Donald to full Jordan.”

Though I will give Ms. Cheney full credit for her vote.

Their leadership at least in the House is beginning to look like petulant junior high school students. Surprised they are not out there TP-ing Cheney’s house.

So, for these miscreant Repubs it is party and ideology first, country and constitution second, or third, or fourth, or not at all.

I think that’s too dismissive of the danger these people have the potential to pose towards the US form of government as we’ve known it if allowed back in power. Look at where they’ve shifted over the decade since the tea party showed up. Imagine where that might lead over the next decade.
