Furst!
And of course, if you haven’t yet, GO VOTE!
Sure hope Garland has the indictment ready to drop tomorrow. Willis and James can drop on Thursday then Friday.

Meanwhile…
I had a case against Michael Truncale before Trump nominated him to the bench. I am genuinely surprised he would rule in favor of the NAACP.
For the record, I kicked his ass.
ETA: Still in auto-complete.
Good to see him rule that way in a place like Jefferson Co., though.
Happy “Eve of the Death of American Democracy” day to all who celebrate!
I am not in an optimistic place, can you tell? I think the best the reality based community can hope for is that the GQP have less than a 20 seat house majority and don’t take more than 50 Senate seats.
From the story this morning, I didn’t realize that KY was voting to ban abortion again - that’s the problem with these “people” they just need to win once, everyone else needs to win every. single. election.
Jefferson County is inching closer and closer to 50/50. There’s been a fair amount of white flight in recent years.
ETA: Specifically, it went from 57% white in 2000 to 37% white in 2020.
That’s indeed a “fair amount” of white flight.

It’s quite amazing how low Republicans can go without it hurting them in the polls. The disconnect and tribalism would be fascinating if the stakes weren’t so high.
They need time in federal prison.
It’s amazing and shocking to me that the Right’s effectively nationalizing of how we think of voting procedures, which each state has the right to control and which the Right by and large supports, has caused people like Lake either to forget or to selectively remember the voting procedures of their own states.
After which they would fit in a matchbox.
