Did they reduce the count by guys now selling apples from carts on the corner, or shining shoes or shoveling snow? (ed.)
Many people are saying those have been real growth industries.
Collecting cans, did you say? I heard that’s kind of a monopoly?
Maybe the attorney general should look into it.

What can actually be said today that hasn’t already been said a hundred times? Enough already and let’s get this guy, and his supporters, out of government altogether. As this pandemic unfolds, the tragedy and grief it is spawning now will take years to heal. Truly, a disaster of epic proportions.

The AG will only look into it if he can determine it’s best way that Trump can make money off of them.

I’s like the man said, “Winning is important!”
Like with the amount of testing, and the total number of covid infections, this is another place where America is in the lead.
Talk about greatness!

It’s really pretty hard to believe there’ll be anything like a sense of real security or recovery any time in the next couple of years at least. And that’s not good news for the guy you’re talking about. If not for him we might have done this right, like South Korea, and avoided the worst consequences. And people know it.

Well, in light of this:

COVID Continues To Wreck Economy

Unleashing his inner Marx or Schumpeter, Navarro could emerge again to tell us not to worry because it’s all creative destruction.

Trump’s neglect of Covid wrecked the economy.

And the wrecking crew is still at it, every day. People getting haircuts or going to a movie theater with 25% occupancy will have no effect on the economy. Even Ford’s reopening is tentative as they rely on Mexican auto assembly and parts production companies. They’re (Mexican plants) are due to reopen June 1st but any surge in COVID cases could close down those plants down. Tourist industry, airlines, concerts, sporting events? . Fuhgeddaboudit!

Fake news. The market is booming.. So much winning going on. The Dow is up that is all that matters. Granny and joe six pack can just go die, fat cats and speculators are making out. MAGA and Moscow Mitch at work.

I call it a lack of imagination, as in taking the information at hand and looking at the outcomes; if nothing is done versus something is done. Trump’s gut is always reactive instead of proactive.

With the administration’s planned return to 19th century economic conditions and employer accountability, it’s expected that the market for household help will grow exponentially.
Not a return to serfdom, though. Not yet.
