Things like this just get to me. Maybe I’m too hide bound but I’ve been married once and for a long time. I’m a bit old-fashioned, myself. Clinton even pissed me off. I can turn a cultural blind eye to the imperfections that exist in everyone. However, COMMA, be discreet. Don’t fuck the staff. If you really need a mistress, choose a Princess Marta. Someone who has as much to lose as you do. (That’s why we had to wait 50 years to find out about FDR’s affairs)

I was taught to not lie even when there were dire consequences attached to telling the truth.
That value cost me a really good job

4 months later I got a sweet offer at the same university that I took and stayed for the next 30+ years. People knew without me saying anything what the back story was and I noted a massive increase in respect for my values.
