Discussion: Debunked: Kavanaugh Accuser Seeking Revenge For Parents' Foreclosure

Yes, and what is current judicial and psychological thinking on In vino veritas

Rough horse play? Was it in the locker room too! OK I AM OFFICIALLY MAD AS HELL.

I agree about the lying but the original offense is meaningful too. I have never seen any drunk do something far outside their character, just more aggressively and without impulse control. Rape is an act of power over a person whom you do not recognize as another human. Brett Kavanaugh’s career is defined as a wide open misuse of power or allowing power to operate.

I truly truly hope that Dr Ford files a complaint in Montgomery County.

Or…was it payback for not accusing Kavanaugh’s son of attempted rape (since timelines don’t really seem to matter to scumbags like Erickson)? It’s just as plausible which is to say, Not. At. All. In the immortal words of Tony Soprano…“fuggheddabbouddit.”

Sort of the old " only stuck it in a little bit" defense … along with an ample helping of “she was really asking for it”

Limbaugh today related a tweet, which he never does, and which he can’t verify, but has a ring of truth: That during the Gorsuch hearings, Ford made the very same accusations against Gorsuch in a letter to Feinstein. Pulled out of someone’s ass? Well maybe, but you know, just sayin’…
A KAC quote has stuck with me ever since pre-election. After Comey “re-opened” the email investigation, Fox reported then quickly retracted a story about impending indictments against Hillary. KAC continued to repeat the false story and when asked why, her response was, “It doesn’t matter. It’s out there now.” This is how they roll. Lessons well-learned from the Russian masters of the art.

Republicans once again demonstrating that power is a hell of a drug.

When Kavanaugh was working for Ken Starr in the Bill Clinton investigation, he wanted to know all the physical details of the relationship of the president with Lewinsky. He wanted to be part of the investigation, but Starr said no, I was thinking that this guy is a predator, obsessed with sex, it seems since he was very young.

It’s both the action & the lies.

Assault against a 15-year old child, a pretty serious crime in my book. It’s possible if he was a blackout drunk in those days he honestly has no recollection. There are a number of reasons he shouldn’t be on the supreme court. What if Kavanaugh had actually inadvertently killed Ford?

Age isn’t an excuse - many teens are well-behaved for the duration. In addition I don’t see drinking as an excuse either.

Compare with Cruz’s group trying to make a big deal out of Beto O’Rourke’s 26-year old DWI vehicle accident. Beto faces up to what he did, Beto says it was inexcusable.

OT but speaking of Beto, some Cruz supporter was so alarmed by the number of Beto yard signs that they printed up red stickers with the word ‘veto’ on it. Then proceeded to travel around plastering their red ‘veto’ signs on Black and white Beto yard signs. Please some one teach them how to spell ‘VOTE’. – maybe they are dyslexic.

As others have said, this doesn’s seem like it was a total surprise to the GOP despite their whining. They had the 65-signature letter ready to go, they had the Kennedy softball HS questions, and now thinking of all the little girls from his basketball team sitting there for photo op – seems a bit creepy, just look at how he is loved and supported by the females.
