Originally published at: Youngkin Offers Constituents Insulting ‘Job Fair’ As Musk Purges Virginian Federal Workers - TPM – Talking Points Memo
Virginia Republican Gov. Glenn Youngkin is trying to figure out how to help his party keep the governor’s mansion when his term is up this year — a challenge that may become more difficult as Elon Musk’s lawless DOGE rampage continues to directly impact the more than 140,000 federal workers who live in the state.…
Shorter Youngkin: “I got mine, fuck you all.”
“When I was growing up, my father lost his job twice,"
You are going to lose your job once. You’d better hope your constituents don’t come looking for you.
“We have a federal government that is inefficient"
Bullshit. This is a talking point you F-s have been using for years. Prove it.
“We have a lot of federal workers in the Commonwealth,”
And about half of them are getting buyers’ remorse. The other half voted for Harris.
Lieutenant Gov. Winsome Sears released a direct-to-camera video acknowledging “concern about the federal government workforce transition,” and sharing five links to “additional resources to assist.” All five links led to broken “404 Page Not Found” website errors.
These are the morons who are always going on about a meritocracy.
[Ed: no cat.]
I don’t remember Youngkin being such an ass-kisser.
I look forward to Youngkin being unceremoniously dumped into the Republican “gravel pit,” as Kristi calls it, now that his usefulness is done.
Maybe Nikki Haley and Chris Christie can give him some tips and a shoulder to cry on.
A job fair?!?
If things were fair, these federal workers would not have been fired in the first place.

Both halves are getting their faces eaten by leopards.

Perhaps a massive jobs-training program in torch making?
Or pitchfork fabrication?
Maybe guillotine sharpening?
Something like that.
That wasn’t very effective Governor Youngkin. Let’s show that you really care: hold a town hall in a very large venue. I’m sure your empathy will come through in person.

“Shoot, a fella’ could have a pretty good weekend in Vegas with all those skills.”

In a word, you.
Vote for me.
If some one is anti-choice it is often a tell that they do not care about what happens to actual people.
God damn it. It is incredibly insulting to somebody tell them that the job that they have held working in public service, working for less pay in the position where you can help other people, amounts to fraud and abuse.
No f****** job fair makes up for that. It’s an insult. It’s a mark of profound disrespect.
God damn it.
I’m not in favor of capital punishment, and, like Monsieur Guillotine, I think it should be humane and painless if we have to do it. Let’s bring back the guillotine.
they all do that, sir.

When is the tarring and feathering class? Is it before the how-to ride 'em out on a rail seminar?

And don’t delay in signing up for the “Special topic: Keelhauling” class. That one always fills up early, whenever it’s offered.
Youngkin is going to lose so big in his upcoming election…maybe lose his head before that, too.

So enough about you…what are you going to do for the rest of the people that live in your state.
