It’s Russia, so, it’d be about 72 kilometer per hour, or 20 m/s. Or would be, pre sanctions. Now, I assume it’ll be a bit slower, because I’m not sure Russia can afford full gravity any more.

Not every idiot in Paris is an American tourist making utter fools of themselves… though some are. I do not know the nationality of the guy with the parachute but there were two American drunks on the Eiffel Tower over night.
I love visiting France and I always try to be decent, civil and respectful though my spoken French proficiency is not the best. But it is appreciated when I try.

Nah, it ain’t over. The Republicans seem to want a civil war like never before, as long as their useful idiots fight it for them. But even the actual Civil War didn’t end the country. It may be an awful voyage, but we’ll eventually handle it. Hopefully with prison sentences for the entire insurrection gang.
