Spent a long day yesterday/last night at Boston’s Museum of Fine Art. They were open until 10:00 p.m. Impressive updating of their exhibitions. Whole rooms dedicated to a single artist (Monet, Sargent) or subjects (George Washington). As always, almost overwhelmed by Thomas Sully’s monumental Passage of the Delaware.

Came outside and watched the lunar eclipse which seemed to take forever for our planet to eliminate our moon and for it to slowly re-emerge even more bright and beautiful in its full moon luminescence.
