I read about this at Rawstory and it just made me smile so big. Go ahead and rip yourselves to pieces, Repugs. I’m enjoying the fuck out of seeing this especially inasmuch as I will never forget that Liz’s daddy wanted to hunt down the Democrats with dogs and exterminate us, so much for your piety now, Liz.

I personally hope you and the GOP who hate you take care of each other totally. With finality.

The committee falsely claimed in its resolution that the Capitol insurrection was “instigated by Antifa and BLM radicals,”

So how did they make Donald say all that stuff? They are truly evil geniuses.

They did it with the chem trails and the help of the Jews who run the space lasers.

Of course, because there were just so-o-o-o many black people in that mob.

Once again the question: Are they really this delusional or do they just see creating their own truth as being the best way to stay in power. I lean toward the latter.

Talking trash about fellow GOP’ers is verboten but censure over a collective butthurt is fine?

OK.

Karl Rove admitted it up front - they create their own reality. They have just created one now that is so loony they can’t really drag the rest of us along with it anymore.

They used to be more or less content with a reality in which White Christians created this nation and are in charge permanently by the grace of god. That was the W reality. And lots of people fell for it - especially the press.

They’ve gone way out in the QZone now and nobody is going with them but the people whose brains they’ve already eaten.

If she had any balls (metaphorically speaking), Liz would declare as an independent and caucus with the Democrats. Not that I expect that, but imagine if Liz, Lisa, Mitt and Susan all switch to a party that puts country first.

How did the saying go? Conservatism didn’t fail, you failed supporting it. or something very similar.

Now with dumpsterism it’s just “THEY DID IT! NOT US!”

LOL. It is like they live in an alternate reality, going whole hog embracing the crazy. People are leaving their party in droves, yet they are playing purity games. Keep it up, Republicans we don’t want to have to deal with any of you anymore. Bye, bye.

This is just, quite simply, insane. The evidence is there for everyone to see, and no amount of denial or outright lying or distortion can change what everyone can see for themselves. [Self answering question, but . . . ] Do these people even care about retaining any credibility with the wider world outside of their small bubble reality? And, do they really think that people will forget once this episode is done?

The GOP is entirely bereft of any honor, decency, or shame, if they ever had any. They live in an alternate reality of their own fabrication. What an utter embarrassment.

I have mixed feelings about this. OTOH I’m no fan of Cheney let alone her dad, and there’s some satisfaction in seeing her treated so horribly by her party, of which her father was once a leading figure. And she just voted to allow Greene to keep her committee memberships, which was a tacit endorsement of QAnon, anti-Semitism and the rest of that vile nutty. Yet OTOH she has done the right thing in voting for impeachment and speaking out against Trump. Perhaps there’s a sort of awakening and transformation going on here and it’s still early stages? Where does she even go from here?

Behold, the ongoing legal, moral, and ethical bankruptcy of the Republican party. There is nothing of any value or decency left of it.

The GOP is breaking apart. Liz is out on the ice flow hoping the never trumpers will sail past and pick her up.
