This, after being NOT exonerated by the Mueller report. Treasonous, authoritarian, lizard-brain thug. He thinks he can get away with it. If he loses the election - if we HAVE an election - his administration will end in a hostage crisis.

Clearly what the Founders imagined the nature of the presidency to be.

Cy Vance:

“And they likewise understood that having to defend against these actions would distract the president from his constitutional duties.”

The guy doesn’t have any sense of wrong when it come to getting what he wants. No wonder he admires dictators so much.

If I were as guilty as he is and had his personality, I wouldn’t have any plans to leave either, especially if that keeps me out of an 8X8 in a Supermax…

It’s hard to imagine discussing any one thing eight different times in a single conversation. This man is nuts.

I just want a Noriega redux first, just find what’s on the play list, and then they can send the Navy Seals and Army Rangers in.

The criminal-in-chief is going to be lining up WH staff and desperately trying to find the leaker. Wonder if the leaker is the person that leaked to the WaPo last year about staff trying to tone down what tRump was doing. Far as I know, he failed miserably in his gestapo interrogations.

In his memoir, “Confessions of a Muckraker,” Jack Anderson has a great chapter on Eisenhower’s lack of ethics and how the media overlooked this failing of their lovable Republican president. While Harry Truman was scourged for just accepting a 12-pound ham, only Anderson and Drew Pearson reported that Eisenhower accepted a 7-bathroom “cottage” from special interests as well as livestock, antiques, and a long list of other gifts worth several million today. Mamie Eisenhower was showered with jewels, including a diamond necklace and a gold mesh bag “so heavy that she could hardly carry it around,” according to Anderson. Ike even lobbied (and received) a special tax loophole so he could keep most of the profits from his WWII memoir.

And this is the administration-friendly version that leaves out the quids pros and quos. If all he did was repeatedly implore the Ukraine, the IG would not have made the evaluation he did, and we wouldn’t be here.

My aim isn’t very good. Otherwise…

What, you’ve never encountered that sleazy type of high-pressure salesmen (almost always sales-men, yes) who keep badgering you over and over that you MUST ACT NOW, THIS IS A GREAT DEAL BUT YOU’VE GOTTA SIGN UP NOW, DON’T MISS OUT ON THIS FANTASTIC OFFER (etc. etc. until you either give up and sign just to get them out of your face, or more sensibly, have security escort them to the door)… ?

Lucky you.

I read it, without thinking, as 8 separate conversations — or 8 separate attempts at pressure —but perhaps you’re correct. Either way at a minimum it’s a high crime and misdemeanor, bordering on treasonous.
