During what sources who spoke to the Wall Street Journal describe as a “routine briefing that covered a number of topics” in May, President Trump was informed that his name appeared multiple times in the documents that the Justice Department reviewed on the Jeffrey Epstein case. In a new piece published this afternoon that cites…

Covering up for pedophiles. Hard to imagine sinking any lower, but I’m sure they’ll manage.

They questions that Dems must now ask every day:

  • How many times does Trump appear in the files?
  • What has Bondi done with those files in which he appears?

And did convicted felon really hand sign the clemency orders for some 1,600 of his supporters who were involved on Jan. 6? Or did he use autopen?

House subcommittee voted to subpoena the Department of Justice for files in the sex trafficking investigation into Jeffrey Epstein. How much ketchup is on the wall?

So who tipped off Mike Johnson to shut down the House before this news broke?

(Or was he the WSJ’s source?)

At least one account reports that there was a log of when and where Donnie appears in the records the FBI seized from Epstein: (ed.)
First, approximately 1,000 personnel in the Information Management Division (IMD) and the FBI New York Field Office were assigned to this task, confirming the whistleblower account made to Senator Durbin’s office. I can also confirm that a log exists tracking the mentions of Donald Trump in the files, and that there were approximately 100,000 files containing roughly 300,000 pages. Individual analysts were told to flag mentions of Trump by document and page number by logging them in an Excel spreadsheet, (The Epstein Cover-Up at the FBI - by Allison Gill )

Do I need to remind people that Hillary killed Vince Foster and about Bill’s black baby? Because you’re losing the real narrative here that is so typical of liberals.

Trump reportedly told them that he would defer to [DOJ] on [whether to make the files public].

Of course he’s not going to take responsibility for withholding the files. This is consistent with his approach - which we’ve seen many times - of not knowing WTF is going on in his maladministration. Not being involved makes finding a scapegoat so much easier.

Is Hillary gonna skip her tranqs, displace her anger onto Ghislaine and arrange another jailhouse ‘accident?’

Surely he’s known for years and years that his name and his picture have to be all over the Jeffrey Epstein materials. He was a very close friend of Epstein’s for somewhere between 15 and 20 years…

The guy who ran his main casino-- who saw Trump on a daily basis – says that from 1987 through 1990 at least, when the casino guy left Trump’s employ, he read the Trump-Epstein relationship, which he saw pretty frequently, as a “best friends” relationship.

Trump is known to have given at least one – and possibly more – parties where the only guests were a ton of young models and Jeffrey Epstein. That’s been widely known for a long time.

Everybody who knew either of them knew about their being friends. And I’m sure he knew that everybody knew. His 2002 interview comments to New York magazine about him and Epstein having the same level of desire for women, with JE wanting them "on the younger side,’ was so very clearly the comment of somebody who felt like a pal with intimate knowledge of the other person. And he told a national magazine about that with relish.

So are we supposed to think that he was surprised by Bondi telling him that he’d turned up in the documents and notebooks and photos and videos of this guy that he knew he’d spent a lot of time with and that he must have known kept records ofr a lot of what he did and seems to have had multiple cameras operating in every room of every place he lived?

What the hell could he have been surprised about when Bondi said he was in the files? Did he think his DOJ had already found every trace of him in all that material and burned it all to powder or what?

Or is all this yelling about how he had very little part in Epstein’s life just an obfuscating lie he’s concocted in hopes everyone will be dumb enough to believe it? Must be that, because there’s no way he didn’t realize he’d figure prominently in the massive documentation Epstein made of his life.

My current operating theory is that more than a few elected Republicans would love to see Trump brought down and destroyed.

They fear him but they despise him. They despise him because he made them fear him. They despise him because he is vulgar and stupid and everything they think that they themselves are not. They despise him because he smells disgusting. Whatever. They secretly despise him.

They can read the winds, read the tea leaves. A weakened autocrat is a weak man. A vulnerable man. Somebody you can distance yourself from - especially over this.

It will be very easy to say how they believe Vice President Vance is the future of the conservative movement in this country and it’s time to look to the future.
