A lot of things happened. Here are some of the things.
The Wall Street Journal editorial board yesterday put out a prickly defense of its decision to publish Trump’s rambling letter to the editor in which he regurgitated his usual lies about voter fraud in the 2020 election — a screed identical to any of the hundreds of emails from his Save America PAC, except it was published in a reputable news outlet wholesale, without a single factcheck.
This is one of the most despicable (as well insidious and oft overlooked by the MSM) things that has resulted from the last five years of the Orange Pustule’s takeover of our political discourse: the normalization of lying.
Yet another example of the asymmetric warfare that the Democrats are up against… SMH
If the WSJ feels one of its roles is to present diverse viewpoints and let their readers decide their veracity why not allow a person to publish a 600 word screed denying the Holocaust ever occurred?
Beat me to it. She is always thoroughly prepared, explains complex situations simply and directly–often with helpful visuals–and refuses to accept lies and half-truths from the powerful people she interacts with in hearings. She is a valuable asset for the Democratic Party and more than that, a true advocate for the vast majority of American people. Go get 'em Katie!
After reading about this Oklahoma execution at Huff Po this AM it is obvious that the Oklahoma Corrections Department is the actual entity that should die convulsing.
Oklahoma is not OK.
The League of United Latin American Citizens (LULAC) in Iowa is suing Iowa secretary of state Paul Pate, the Iowa Voter Registration Commission and auditors in four counties.
Election officials have failed to provide Spanish language materials to voters who speak little English , according to LULAC. Spanish speakers and others with limited English proficiency “face unnecessary barriers to voting” due to an “erroneous interpretation and implementation” of the state’s “English-only” law, the lawsuit states.
The organization is requesting that a judge order an exemption to the law for voting materials.
It’s absurd that the LULAC even has to sue. It’s absurd that Iowa has an English-only law.
The United States does not have and has never made English its official language.
