No math can say.
Incalculable.
I don’t see a big problem with that.
It’s some defenses of Cuomo that are a bit weird – especially the ones that exceed even those issued by his attorneys.
Somewhat OT, but this made me so mad I had to share:
I’m so angry, I can’t begin to comment rationally.
LLLOL “Back in the good ole days, we made our own meth. Why, you could get some of the purest meth on the market in Montana. That was before the Mexicans took over. Now, all you can find is that shitty meth that makes you pick your skin and lose your teeth. But liberals took God out of schools and people stopped going to church and now you can’t find any decent meth around here. Sigh.”
It’s like the local moonshiners condemning the rumrunners in the 30’s because they can make it cheaper and better.
I’m told that we can have “surgical” drone strikes rain down on evil-doers.
Yes that is enough to make most people angry I’d think. It infuriates me - I don’t understand why we go backwards on this shit all the time.
Well I do - men. Sorry guys.
Whoa!
Hey, I/we know you don’t mean us.
Good cause I don’t. hahahaha
There are three women on the MN SC and it was unanimous. WTF?
This is infuriating and in other words because she’s drunk , she asked for it.
"Here’s the thing you have to understand about Ted Cruz. I like Ted Cruz more than most of my other colleagues like Ted Cruz. And I hate Ted Cruz." – Former U.S. Senator Al Franken
I don’t know. sigh
Looks like it’s a narrow ruling based on the wording of the law, that’s why it’s a unanimous decision. Since the current law only allows that to be applied when it’s administered against their agreement, such as someone plying them with drinks, the lawmakers fucked this one up.
In this case, the rapist picked her up when she was already drunk, doesn’t appear he gave her any more alcohol, but took her someplace and raped her.
Our decision turns on the meaning of mentally incapacitated as defined by the
Legislature in Minn. Stat. § 609.341, subd. 7 (2020). The statute provides:
“Mentally incapacitated” means that a person under the influence of alcohol,
a narcotic, anesthetic, or any other substance, administered to that person
without the person’s agreement, lacks the judgment to give a reasoned
consent to sexual contact or sexual penetration.
OT because Meghan McCain
I neither support nor condemn Cuomo—because I don’t have access to all the facts and evidence.
I prefer to wait until the investigation is complete before reaching a conclusion.
Well, it’s not a rational decision, so rational comments are not possible—except to say that rape is rape no matter the amount of alcohol the victim consumed or who did or did not help her consume it.
