I just refuse to look at polls around anything concerning tRump these days. I don’t think they’re accurate and it’s defeating to some of us to see these numbers.

As I see it, the vibe from the Sunday shows is: 1. Trump dropped the ball, 2. It’s going to get worse before it gets better, 3. We have time to mitigate the worst of it, but not much, 4. We can’t avoid at least some bad outcomes, 5.Trump probably hurt the economy very badly.
The nation’s ability to survive this crisis is dependent on 3 things: 1. Mass testing, 2. Production and deployment of ventilators, 3. Expansion of ER/ICU capacity.
The other thing we have to realize is that red state gonna red state. No matter what smart people like Fauci say, MAGA ain’t gonna listen and they will be responsible for community spread. I would suggest focusing all the testing, and supply of materials, ER/ICU capacity to the major metro areas with governors and mayors who can implement containment strategies like Seattle, Chicago, LA, SF, NY, Bos. A mass effort in these cities can perhaps curb the worst of it. It will not prevent the spread of the virus into middle America or the worst impacts of it, however. One hopes that red America will quickly learn how bad this thing is and take the lessons and rapidly change course. However, we’re not going to have an isolated problem. It will be nationwide and our Republic isn’t prepared for it.
The only real solution here is to change the voice at the top and get Trump outta there. The potential ramifications are so dire right now that I see that as a higher possibility.

This actually happened to me yesterday on Huffington Post, there was a clip of Donald’s Wednesday night whatever it was it started playing and I couldn’t stop it, it was horrible.

Unfortunately, nothing will break the MAGA/KAG crowd, even Trump’s botched Katrina, sickness and death in their own families.
They are too busy repeating the “Obama H1N1” lies.

I’m seriously starting to think that this might be necessary. There is a complete vacuum of leadership in this country regarding this crisis, and this virus is shaping up to be an existential threat to thousands of American lives. In the range of possible situations where this would be necessary, where does this crisis fall?
OTOH, Republicans are demonstrating that they simply do not care about the future of this country. They’ll support this Dotard until the end, and if the end it is, then the end they’ll get.
