Bullshit, Acting Secretary Wolf directed the use of the intelligence collecting systems, after all the press is the enemy of the state and of the people. When caught some lawyer told him that he could be in deep shit, so now he tries to feign ignorance.

He can try to do what Donnie does when accused:
1 - it didn’t happen, fake news
2 - it happened, but I didn’t know about it
3 - I knew about it, but I didn’t do it
4 - I did it, but it’s not illegal
5 - it’s illegal, but you can’t charge me

Is that ratty growth supposed to make him look like a man? Because he looks like a rat to me.

Starting my day with this.

BTW: That suspending the election ploy, really isn’t going over well for the baby.

The only thing Wolf didn’t condone was getting caught.

“The statement sought to distance Wolf from the practice, adding, “in no way” did Wolf “condone this practice and he has immediately ordered an inquiry into the matter.”

I’m particularly glad that these lovely children were here today to hear that speech. Not only was it authentic frontier gibberish complete and utter bullshit, it expressed a courage little seen in this day and age. (With my deepest apologies to Mel Brooks.)

Only thing to do is to haul him and his top staff in to a congressional inquiry and ask them about this under oath. They can protest all they want, and have spokespeople deny his knowledge, etc., ect. But is he willing to say so under oath? And what does he have to say about his leadership, allowing such things to occur?

He’s been watching “Perry Mason.” He wants to be Matthew Rhys. I would too, if I were Wolf.

Why waste it on a useless cause when it can be directed into the bank accounts of his children, their POA’s, his own, etc.?

I think even Dumb Donnie Little Fingers sees the writing on the wall.

It’s been going on for months, and suddenly when it makes the news he is outraged and orders it “stopped”.

Either he is a lying sack of s*** who is attempting to avoid legal liability, or he is utterly unaware of important activities carried out by the department he ostensibly runs. He should resign in disgrace.

(I have for decades now been sadly fascinated by the republican defense strategy that goes: “I am not a criminal, I am just utterly uninformed and too stupid to breathe; therefore I should continue in my job.”)

If they spend the money, Dotard won’t be able to keep as much of it. And if you spend money on TV ads, there is no way those ads are going to pay to stay at T properties. There’s no profit in it for the boss, so they can’t continue.
And I’m not really being snarky here. I cannot imagine that he is can conceptualize that they’ll have to spend the funds. He understands what will happen if he loses, but I doubt seriously if he can make the leap to “so we have to spend this money to protect your chances of winning”.

More money into Trump’s bank account. He’ll need it for lawyers.
