Americans…

  • Remember your freedoms

  • Make a promise not to lose them

Start with resisting this lying Trump enabler with the goal of ultimately ignoring her. And continue with the education that millions need to engage in:

USING those freedoms we still possess to do everything in our power to remove Trump from Office as soon as possible.

The Double-Down Desperados.

Nobody on the right has the balls to admit they are wrong. They have been cooking the facts for 50 years…but facts are stubborn. They are all faced with staring down the barrel…and basically NONE of them will back off. No - they double-down. They all know this isn’t going to end well, but at least they will bring about complete destruction for everyone…and that is better than letting us win.

She was protecting her job. Why she wants a job working with the most disastrous administration in history is probably sad as well. She isn’t as well known as his other co-conspirators, so she would probably not be able to get a gig on Fox (especially now that they have joined the other side), so she’s playing the game she joined. It’s not honorable, and it’s not mentally healthy. It’s the choice she’s made, and for some reason she’s sticking to it.

I note with some substantial degree of frustration that the media seems to reserve this treatment for campaign staff, and seems unwilling to make the same comment to administration officials who display identical behavior.

But your point is not lost.

We already knew that. So did he. Why bring people on camera like that? Credibility goes both ways.

‘Dippy Hippy’ was long a meme in our society and politics but most of the magical thinking these days is on the Right, where people believe withering government increases welfare, lurid conspiracies are simple fact, only God can change the climate, and only Dear Leader speaks the truth.

Either to stupid to be allowed out without a minder or so morally bankrupt as to have zero self-esteem.

You might as well try to argue a schizo on the bus out of their schizophrenia. You will lose the argument and raise your own blood pressure and not have any impact on the other person.

Meanwhile, the other passengers will stare at their newspapers a little more intently and the bus driver will grip the steering wheel a little more tightly.

This. So true and so awful. It’s spite. Spite borne out of insecurity that’s been transformed by Fox et al. into hate. Remember Lee Atwater’s deathbed confession?

Even Fox News admits that the President has a questionable relationship with the truth sometimes. But once a disciple, always a disciple. Good luck finding work after this administration is over, lady.

That and her attempting to use “just ask Jim Comey” who Shithead has repeatedly called a liar!

You just can’t make this shit up…

She could have the racist gene, and it pays her rent.

The main reason I never watch CNN is that they give a platform to lying idiots like this to court controversy and conflict. Crossfire was bad enough when it was just one show, but now it is CNN’s dominant “reporting” model. Maybe apart from CNN’s ratings, how does this help, or inform anyone? Jon Stewart was definitely right, they are hurting America.

Let’s be clear. Cable news is not journalism.

Think of it a a big cash bucket that is open 24 hours a day and must be filled daily. Like hotel rooms or airplane seats. No one makes money if those hours aren’t filled.

In my past, we always knew we were in trouble when the only alternative to coverage was one reporter talking to another. We knew it was time to ‘bail’ and go to a commercial.

Now we call this daily word salad of talking heads journalism. It’s not.

There are good journalists on cable. There are good commentators on cable. But to think the round table discussions, or the filling of time with idiot spokespersons is journalism is just wrong. Nor, is it entertainment.

It is harmful to our ability to understand what is going on around us and misleads many.

We have a serous problem.

Something that no longer exists, in any form (journalism) can’t fail. It simply doesn’t exist.

She married someone who used to pitch for the Mets.

Anyway, she’s a Trump hack. This sort of theater is one reason I don’t watch these shows.

(To be clear, I can see some value in having Trump hacks speaking to get a sense of what their official line is but not really a fan of watching it on a regular basis myself. And, a little of this stuff goes a long way. Cable news is soaked in it.)

One of the things I look forward to about trump being replaced is that Kayleigh McEnany and ilk won’t be able to insult my intelligence. They can just sink into the quicksand of obscurity.
