As someone pointed out, it’s not lying if you really believe the shit you make up. Legally, of course, there is the “reckless disregard” stipulation to cover that, but outside the corridors of law, perception becomes belief with impunity.

I saw the interview last night. It was both horrifying and spectacular. I gotta’ give a hand to Chris Cuomo for keeping himself together.

I guess I was a bit harsh with her… she is not that unique, there are many falsehoods in the Bible and you will never get a priest to admit to them, the same is true for all religions, even Mormoms and Scientologists that it can be proven that their founders were just making shit up wont admit to them.
I am not saying that systematically denying the truth and repeating falsehoods is not bad, all I am saying is that she has a lot of company.
This, this right here is the problem. WHY is the MSM giving her a platform to say/spread this?! I don’t care how ‘important’, or close she is to the admin, there is no rule that she or anyone of these constant liers for Trump must be allowed on the air.
I’ve maintained that one of the biggest reasons the country is in this mess is because modern journalism is failing. And one of the many ways they are failing is by showing themselves to be wholly incapable of dealing with disingenuous political actors. They do not need to give a platform to disingenuous political actors like this and help spread the lies. Yet here they are, giving life to lies/propaganda and as incredulous as they love to act when their gust do this, they will still have her on again to do the same thing.
It’s the old saying, a lie gets halfway around the earth before the truth puts on it’s shoes. So people need to start asking the MSM why they are volunteering to be the enablers for all these lies to get that jump start.
This is the main reason I don’t watch Cuomo,having people like McEnany on and others of her ilk and having “heated” exchanges this is always his(Cuomo) MO.

A core underlying problem with the intersection of the media/journalism sphere with society at large is the need to fill 24 hours a day with something packaged to resemble news.
I don’t know who the hell Kayleigh McEnany is, but her talking points about whether the President of the United States is a lying liar who lies are not news. CNN, you are not obligated to put crazy nobodies on national television.
(Of course, it was the swarm of empty earned media which propelled Donald Trump to political prominence in the first place.)

This is not a Trump or Kayleigh McEnany problem. This is a CNN problem. Why would any self respecting news organization give screen time to this person? Kayleigh McEnany brings literally nothing to the table but dishonesty.
When CNN is booking Kayleigh McEnany or anyone like her ( Kellyanne?) all hope is lost. There are plenty of legit conservatives to offer that perspective.
Whenever I see Kayleigh, I think of that great line written by Neil Simon in the film version of his play, “California Suite”, spoken so well by Jane Fonda:
“Blonde hair. Blonde teeth. Blonde life.”
And why does Cuomo invite the lying skank back to his show?
He calls her an inexcusable liar and invites her back? That’s like inviting back someone who comes to your house drunk and throws up on your carpet every time they come over.
And for what reason? I suppose they don’t often reflect on the outcome. Their careers will be ruined. It’s like white nationalists agitating for segregation, or homophobes agitating for the right to discriminate. They’ve already lost those battles, they will never see victory.
But they go on. Mindlessly, purposeless, they go on.
