A Democratic lawsuit challenging the procedures of a sketchy audit of Arizona’s 2020 election may have been settled this week. But that hasn’t resolved all the disputes engulfing the recount of Maricopa County’s 2.1 million ballots, as the auditors head into the final week that they have reserved at the current counting site.

The county board of supervisors chairman Jack Sellers issued a statement Friday afternoon expressing his anger about “the allegations of corruption being thrown around — sometimes by elected officials who should know better — denigrating the good names of public servants who devoted the last two years of their lives to running quality elections in 2020.”
I sure hope that it’s not “the last two years of their lives.” But, with all of the crazy shit going on in Arizona, who knows?

Based on what we know and the best legal advice, is there any serious chance that this could overturn any electoral result in AZ, be it presidential, senate, house, state or local, if not primarily, then by calling the validity of the results into question because they’ve spoiled so many ballots? Or is this basically a mix of a vanity project to please Herr Trump and adding fuel to the “Stabbed in the back” myth they’re going to try to use to stage a comeback?

Unbelievable; I’m trying to recall the last time a Presidential election was so hotly contested. Worse still, the accusations of a “stolen election” are baseless. It’s the Previous Occupant being a sore loser.
