I wonder under what heading will Vos and the Assembly mark this in the budget?

To cover the award of sanctions? Perhaps Bradley Foundation can step forward now that there’s public attention (contractor and disgraced former WI Sup Ct Justice Gableman’s political-speech-travel-expense legerdemain having come to light a couple weeks ago). s/

If Vos is in contempt shouldn’t he be visiting the gray bar hotel?

Speaker of the body responsible for making laws in Wisconsin doesn’t believe in the rule of law. Good to know. Not that I didn’t already know that.

The DFP has turned the GOP in to a criminal organization.

I think for cases like this we need to go back to the old British “black cap” approach.

Good! Now lock up the SOB and all of his co-conspirators. Its about time we start holding these people accountable for messing around with our elections.

How about garnishing his salary?

Wisconsin used to be a much admired progressive state. Ah, the good ol’ days. Scott Walker, Scott Fitzgerald, and Robin Vos brought the worst corruption and shame.

Republicans just wipe their asses with contempt citations. Name the last one that went to jail for defying a judge after being cited for contempt. Oh, you have one? I can see that. Now name three more.

And it only took four months and two weeks! No one is above the law!

I just wonder if Vos will pay any attention to a mere county judge on this contempt thing. How will the court enforce the collection of fines, if they are imposed?

They went willingly.

It is now the laboratory of Charles and (the zombified) David Koch. They’ve taken a once thriving state and reduced it to a banana republic.

Even more so, the Uline family (actually spelled Uihlein, as in Richard & Elizabeth).

C’mon, There is no accountability here, the fines will be revoked later, the court and litigation costs will be covered by the tax-payers or donors, and DeVos and company got incredible political millage out of the whole affair. Of course they will do it again.

Not to be critical, but it’s this attitude that’s continued to enable increasingly wingnutty behavior on the part of the Republican Party. We got away with it, so that means we get to go even further the next time!
