The Wisconsin Supreme Court told state election officials on Thursday that they can’t mail out absentee ballots until the court decides whether to add the Green Party’s presidential ticket to the ballot.

Got my nc mail in ballot yesterday! Can’t wait to photo copy it and send in hundreds of copies and then try to vote lots of times in person!

Just more fodder for the GOP vote suppression machine. And yet there are still complaints that the Democrats must be more accepting of GOP opinions. BULLSHIT

I remember when WI was a great place to live.

I remember when it was considered a progressive stronghold. Before the Kochs went all in and bought the state governor and the majority of legislators and judiciary.

Never in history has the fix been more transparent.

Just emphasizing a point here:

I have people blaming Kanye West for this delay - not true and make sure people know.

It’s the Green party slate that was not included on the ballot. What I can’t be sure of is if this was indeed in error or if it was a late filing (the articles I’ve found on it don’t really clarify). But do make sure folks know - Kanye’s not the cause of this.

They are just trying to get the idiot Green Party candidate Howie Hawkins on the ballot to siphon off votes from Biden. Why would anyone in the Green Party make such a stupid choice?

What happens when you piss off the majority of voters in Wisconsin by blatantly making voting far more dangerous and difficult … purely for obvious political reasons?

I think West is just a trump pawn in this election.

Yeah, but his getting on the ballot has been thwarted in a number of States already. Not happening.

I hope not. I know he’s another “genius” and all that but President? What has the world come to? I hope he sticks to being a shoe salesman.

EFFING Green Party! The Russians got into them good. They helped kill Hillary’s Presidential bid and now they are working on Biden.

Check it out. “378,000 ballots have already been sent to voters.”

““We feel this is almost impossible at this point,” Monroe County told the commission.
Milwaukee County noted it has 475 different ballots.
“If Milwaukee County is forced to stop printing, and begin designing, testing, and printing a new ballot, we will not be able to meet the state and federal deadlines,” Milwaukee County reported.”

I’m so sorry Wisconsinites. I will rejoice with you whenever you are able to put your legislature in rehab to kick the Koch habit.

I hope Howie Hawkins is satisfied, now that he’s giving Wisconsinites a chance to vote their true convictions, liberating them from the oppression of having to settle for a false progressive, a corporate Democrat, a mere echo, a Tweedledum to Trump’s Tweedledee.

No, no and no. The omniscient DNC and the candidate herself were entirely to blame. Handlers belatedly spoke of “a host of uncontrollable headwinds,” mostly of their own making. They were dismissive of the entire upper-mid-west, of white working-class stiffs, of failing to address economic inequality, of reaching out to persuadable progressives rather stamping their collective feet and insisting Bernie do it, of basically ignoring anyone who couldn’t show up at swell events like her 2016 East Hampton Labor Day bash and fork over $600 for photo with the painfully grinning HRC – sorry, this horse is dead and buried.
These remarks, by the way, are from someone who was out beating the bushes on LI for HRC votes during her 2000 senatorial campaign against Republican and world-class playground bully Rick Lazio, which she won 55-43 after a late-stage campaign rush that took her to every corner of NY State, from Buffalo to Montauk.

Next up, the Wisconsin Supreme Court rules that absentee ballots were not mailed by the statutory deadline and are therefor void. They cannot waive or extend the deadline because that would be legislating from the bench.

Regarding the delay - “But do make sure folks know - Kanye’s not the cause of this.”

On the other hand, K West says out loud that his so-called candidacy is to help his friend DJT. DJT has negligently killed 200,000 of my brothers and sisters, and for four years has sowed division, as well as consistently attacked rule of law, assisted Putin, and been by far the most corrupt.

I don’t blame K West for the delay. I blame him for his corruption. Sure, he has mental issues. I have never heard that his mental issues prevent him from knowing right from wrong. Guessing that West is the type that would sell his brothers and sisters (and me) into slavery to enrich himself. That’s all.

But I will be careful not to blame him for this delay.
