Which means precisely nothing in terms of the legal issues. Fact: she’s just one of 'em and is an addled partisan moron who would absolutely love to create a rule that whenever a losing party is able to create widespread delusion as to the fairness of an election among its base…and we all know that’s only going to be one particular party…it means the Court gets to step in and start sorting through the “inconvenient” votes…and we all know those are only going to belong to one particular party…

I noticed the argument was that if a certain segment of people believe the election wasn’t fair, then sure, toss it, despite the objective evidence that it was, in fact, fair. That’s your denial of reality at the heart of authoritarianism right there.

That Trump got 3 of 7 votes from Wisconsin’s state Supreme Court on an obviously bogus claim so that he could steal the election should scare the hell out of everyone.

Not necessarily. They did that in full knowledge that they’d lose, so it’s pandering time for their base.
If they were having to actually make a decision that would change the outcome, they may well have voted differently.

Its going to take a long time to remove the scourge of tRumpism from the body politic, but I believe it’ll be necessary to remove its lingering effects including adherents to its batshit notions long after he’s gone from office. It must be removed root and branch, systematically and with sharp denunciation, even if most politicians fall back into position of just wanting to move on. Its too dangerous for our future as a country not to. The next fascist-loving politician to rise to power in this country could be a lot more clever and smarter than tRump in their hold on power. That scares me.

Roggensack’s term is up in 2023. The Democrats need to start work on getting her off the court now if they don’t want a coup in the POTUS election in 2024.
