Like it or not 35%+ of Americans in this great experiment with democracy and self rule have always been wack jobs.
The problem to day is that while before LBJ and Civil Rights the wack jobs were to some extent distributed between the two major Parties, today they have united under the the banner of a single Party giving them control over that Party.

It’s good that they tend to self segregate so they can be identified by the authorities.
It’s bad that they can be so organized.
The biggest problem, all these groypers and whatever the hell they want to call themselves, have is that so many are so young and so horrendously ignorant and unlived. Their lives are in social media, not in the world of dirt and air and water, which leaves them woefully ignorant and unprepared to be worthwhile fellow travelers. Don’t read, can’t write, just spew stupidity and ignorance in a “charming” and sociable manner that spells doom for all of us, including themselves.
They are creating a very ugly and hopeless world, I guess they think it will be a better place than the one we actually live in, but when the air runs out and the rivers dry up and the ocean comes knocking on your front door they probably still won’t realize what sorry excuses they really are, and how tremendously wrong they have been about most everything.

I know two people who worked at different times for Kan-Ye.
Both of them told me they quit because they knew they would physically attack him if they stayed any longer.
His demands of them, and his literal for-real insanity, drove them to the edge. And yet, he has followers, like Trump and Fuentes do. A society of derangement…
Having been around schizophrenia and bi-polar disorder in my family, I saw it grow, get more powerful, but ultimately get to a place where it couldn’t function anymore, where the absurdity overweighed the power behind it. I’m always looking for signs of that in these movements and individuals, like watching tRump roam around Merde-a-Lardo as he scrambles constantly for validation and a way forward as he feels his power waning.
My relatives got to the point where they raged and doubled-down one too many times, and it all fell apart.
Ye is def going to get there, in my opinion. Gosar ? MTG ? Boebert ? Lake ?

This is NOT a problem caused by young and dumb. Rather, this is a problem caused by old and evil who are manipulating the young and dumb.
That is the story of our current politics is that wealthy elites weaponized White resentment to gain power and then used that power to further enrich themselves at the expense of the very people who gave them that power and scapegoating minorities.
