Why The Latest Flynn Entrapment Claims Are As Bogus As The Last Ones | Talking Points Memo

The pandemic has changed many things, but it has not changed Michael Flynn’s habit of overhyping claims of FBI entrapment and prosecutorial misconduct.

You pleaded guilty, asshole, so STFU! You cannot now un-ring the bell. Go home. Pull the drapes. Stay there. Be quiet.

It doesn’t take a legal expert to know Flynn is innocent. It takes someone who is fundamentally clueless about things legal (or medical, or economic, or constitutional, or biblical, or…)

Does he have any friends left in the military? Surely, they must all look down on this traitor, sell-out liar.

No dice.

Flynn did the crime, so now he needs to do the time.
He even said he was guilty.
He sold out his country.

Is there ANYTHING, ANYONE, ANYWHERE associated with the Trump Crime Family that’s NOT bogus?

If he had stuck to his original plea he probably would have been sentenced and released due to COVID19 without spending much, if any, time behind bars. Now because of all of his dilatory dipshittery he will probably not get sentenced until things are relatively back to normal and end up having to actually spend some time in the pokey.
Good strategery there, Mikey.

This is Kabuki theater intended to provide “support” on Fox News, Breitbart, etc, for Trump’s pardon of Flynn. Period.

It’s frustrating and depressing that the mainstream media continues to fail to figure out how thoroughly they are getting played by Trumpworld. The Post’s piece on this was stenography of Flynn’s lawyers’s talking points, with a caveat at the end that “critics of Flynn’s strategy claim it is not on solid legal grounds.” They don’t give a damn about solid legal grounds, for god’s sake.

You’re kidding. The FBI did a better counterintelligence interrogation than your ordinary campus cop investigating a Subway dine-and-dash? Good thing I was sitting down.

Let’s see…

• Trump fired Flynn for being corrupt
• Flynn lied to the FBI
• Flynn pled guilty to his crimes

Let the felon report to prison already. Then his lawyers can waste all the time in the world on frivolous, bullshit appeals and motions.

Kind of reminds of that GOP politician caught in an airport washroom soliciting sex from someone, getting arrested and charged, pleading guilty in open court and, then, wanting to have his guilty overturned for some reason after the fact. (Sorry I don’t have a clear recollection of the politician’s name and such but General Flynn has always reminded of that guy. What a fool !!!)

Here’s a thought: Flynn gets a trial, but it’s delayed to February 2021 and the shitgibbin failed to pardon him. How long do you think a DC jury will take to find him guilty? I hope they order lunch first.

That would be Mike Crapo from Idaho, who thought Bill Clinton should resign over Monica Lewinsky.

Larry Craig was the senator from Idaho who had a “wide stance” in the bathroom in Minneapolis.

Larry Craig, not Mike Crapo

I guess that whole Clinton thingy was a frame up too. Starr, Kavanaugh, Rosenstein on the case KNEW Clinton was lying about Lewinski when they questioned him. I don’t remember any warning about lying in that questioning either.

If you don’t want to walk into a perjury trap the method is simple.
Don’t lie.
