President Trump found a new target for his Saturday morning ire.
Seemingly in response to MSNBC Joy Reid’s mild jabs at the President during her appearance on “All In With Chris Hayes” Friday evening, President Trump woke up bright and early Saturday to tweet questioning “who the hell” the network host is, before arguing she has a “bad reputation.”
Notably, as Mediaite point out, during her two hour-long show on Saturday morning, Reid completely ignored Trump’s Twitter attacks and didn’t mention the remarks once.
That is what everybody should do. Responding to Trump’s tweets is like wrestling with a pig in the mud. “You both get dirty and the pig likes it.” George Bernard Shaw.
Please, this. Everybody including the entire news media. Stop giving him the attention he so desperately craves when he tweets this purposefully inflammatory nonsense. If he tweets something that’s actually newsworthy, like a personnel change in his cabinet, then yeah, report it obviously. Everything else is trolling. Ignore trolls.
I find it amusing that Trump often begins his harrassment tweets with “who the hell is…” but then later in the tweet he makes it clear he knows very well who the person is, and probably has been spending a lot of time agonizing about how to best humiliate them.
It probably is best the Trump has devolved into an old man yelling at the tv. He still seems to know where he is, so no questions yet about who those guys in suits are on the lawn or what day is trash day.
If the media did a complete TRump blackout - no stories on TV, no newspaper articles, no comments on Twitter - how inflammatory do you think Trump’s rhetoric would get and how long would it be before he completely lost his mind?
I so wish this was an experiment that could actually be performed.
Show business? That’s what Donald thinks our country’s government is all about? Of course he does. He doesn’t know how to run anything without running it into the ground. He just puts on a big show all the time hoping it’s enough to let him squeak through yet another day of not being found out to be a complete fraud.
Joy Reid was exploring the impeachment process today on her show. That’s why Trump noticed her for the first time. She was laying out the case against Donald so well it scared the heck out of him.
I guess Faux was so boring today that he was flipping around on the remote looking for something that would keep him awake. And, boy, Joy’s program today would keep me awake at night if I was Trump.
