WHO: Live Animal Markets Shouldn’t Be Closed Amid Coronavirus | Talking Points Memo

LONDON (AP) — The World Health Organization said Friday that although a market in the Chinese city of Wuhan selling live animals likely played a significant role in the emergence of the new coronavirus, it does not recommend that such markets be shut down globally.

More stupid advice from WHO. These markets have different species of animals in cages within their boundaries. Viruses are jumping from one species to another. There are reportedly pangolins being sold at the Wuhan market. This is an endangered species that is being hunted to death because of superstitious “traditional medicine”.

They should eat some fucking beans instead of torturing animals to make them tastier. The WHO is a vassal of China.

Food safety in these environments is rather difficult and therefore it’s not surprising that sometimes we also have these events happening within markets,” Ben Embarek said.

Sounds like the same argument Tyson and other meat plants are spewing in order to stay open and make their money.

You know who else tortures animals to make them tastier?

cats?
