Surely St. Mike said nothing amiss. Or was perfection only possible for Trump?
In the final analysis, it appears that Pence, who expressed willingness to release the transcript of his call, is just like Trump: too stupid to know that what they were doing was illegal.
In most administrations, this would be obvious bullshit. They damn well would know if the call was incriminating or not, if it was politically damaging or not. This “wah wah we’re not sure” would be media cropdusting.
This crew… they actually may not be able to competently conduct that analysis.

If you can’t tell if something is helpful or harmful, it’s harmful.
The admin officials that think releasing the transcript hurt Trump don’t seem to be considering how things would have gone if they’d released nothing.
At the end of the day, they are leaving absolutely zero doubt that they’re guilty of everything they’re suspected of. They are simply trying to buy time to muddy the waters as much as possible. Bad-faith fascists, every step of the way.

My guess, is if it puts Pence in the same boat as Benedict Donald, Chump WILL release it. He wants everyone to stink at least as bad as him. This isn’t about whether it exonerates Pence, for Chump it will be about whether it incriminates Pence.
