The picture of the site is not flattering. Seems appropriate.

Let me get this straight - there is a “White House,” a separate persona from the President. This “White House” is a sentient, rational, entity which acts independent of Donald Trump. How does that work?

Maybe we should actually follow what our policies and procedures dictate, rather than running Government By Tweet.

For fucks sake.

It is mathematically impossible to have a second thought until you have had a first thought.

You are not all about science fiction.
This appears to be the truth and the facts.

Was coming here to say essentially the same thing. Shithead does what he wants, when he wants, and how he wants and seemingly nothing constrains him other than his own cowardice.

And Putin.

There is no The White House…

Via the magic of metonymy! (I mean, still – if even the house itself is having second thoughts…)

I see the White House and I want to paint it black.

Second thoughts for Donnie always need further explanation…

The “White House” would have to be independent of Trump, who is never rational. Whether he’s sentient is also up for debate.

Backing away? Why? The plan appears to be straight up illegal. I should have thought that was the main attraction.

Btw, if the House Oversight Committee subpeonas the documents containg the research on site locations, associated costs, security matters, etc, will the WH be able to provide any? Are will it submit a tweet and video of Trumpf lying about how location scouters “told” him that after extensive non-research, Doral met all the psuedo-requirements?

My guess is that some of the G7 reps gave Trump a heads-up: if Doral was finalized, they would not attend to avoid giving the appearance of benefiting one political party over another.

The Doral! Come for the bedbugs in the tired-looking suites, stay for cockroaches in any of our fine eating establishments! Perhaps this was not the advertising Trump was looking for.
