White House Aides Scramble To Fill Seats At Trump’s July 4 Event

President Donald Trump on Thursday bragged that his July 4 bash is “turning out to be one of the biggest celebrations in the history of our Country,” but his staffers are reportedly struggling to fill up the seats.

For members of the Trump White House: When you can’t get many people to take free tickets to sit next to your supposed “hero,” don’t you wonder who and what you’re working for?

This is going to be a terrible RAW (WWE) episode.

I’m sure there are plenty of Democrats that would fill in those seats, as long as you don’t mind their signs (and their blimp).

As you can see I’ve been very busy this morning.

Though they should, because it’s Trump, they won’t care about any bad optics. It’ll either be: “they would have shown up if we were the only game in town.” or “Obama had these types of problems.”

Both examples are bull, but considering that Gidley was cool with getting piefaced by AC, I’m reckoning that I’m not wrong in guessing that.

The event (which Trump’s reelection campaign insists is not meant to be a partisan rally despite [emailing supporters urging them to come] was carefully engineered to be invitation-only in order to avoid another embarrassing scene like Trump’s near-empty 2017 inauguration, which was a major source of frustration for the President.

Wait one darn minute now I have been repeatedly told that attendance in Jan 2017 was the best attended ever. This has got to be one of those fake stories. RT please correct your coverage, just what is a bigot, traitor to do when we can’t even trust RT.

What are the chances something goes horribly wrong bringing those tanks over bridges not meant to hold such weight?

Also have a friend who works in DC tell me that the capital has tons of underground infrastructure, museums and tunnels. I don’t wish infrastructural disasters on anyone, anywhere, but a tank stuck in a sinkhole seems like a pretty apt metaphor for this administration.

No worries, 2 Scoops, I’m told Trump Baby will be attending your hate speech. He’s really big, should fill up some of that empty space.

Putin’s flying in planeloads of Trump supporters, right?

They know what they’re working for. They also know he pays them. I suspect they have just about as much loyalty as a cat you don’t feed.

I’m 120 miles away from this fiasco, thankfully.

I just wish the media would ignore it. When he cries about it, tell him he’s not getting good ratings. The rage tweeting would go on for weeks.

It sounds like the tanks will actually just be parked somewhere that can support them, not paraded around. This is awesome because we know a vintage car exhibit was exactly not what Trump had in mind.

A lot of people are saying Hogan Gidley will be doing a Sean Spicer impersonation first thing tomorrow morning.

“This was the largest audience to ever witness a “SALUTE TO xMExxxx,” period, both in person and around the globe.”

They will fill it up enough for the media to make it look like a huge success. Trump wins, he always wins, he will continue to win. The media has aided and abetted him for 40 years, they aren’t going to stop now.

At some point, you probably will regret your photos supporting a criminal regime.

The event (which Trump’s reelection campaign insists is not meant to be a partisan rally. Oh puleeze.

Alert, alert, bad storms with hail, thunder, lightning, buckets of rain, stay away.
Wish someone, somehow could get an official looking thing on twitter saying the event had been cancelled. Where are the Russians when you need them?

Shoot, so it’s only gonna be pay-per-view? I was hoping to catch all the fighting on CNN.

What country is available for the U.S. to engage in a giant tank battle ? Tanks are now as irrelevant as battle ships were in World War II. We just build them because members of Congress want Pentagon money wasted in their districts. So, I guess using them for props for a Trump rally might be the most use they ever get.
