He?

There should be no should.
We the American people are entitled to know how our freedoms are being taken away.

Fine, but we have to bear in mind that the whistleblower is only the start because it seems that the whistleblower is going to report what s/he knows, as well as name names of people who were present during the phone call. Apparently the whistleblower was not present for that (although s/he might have been present for other things). So, there will be a big need to quickly bring in those other people. That could be difficult if the White House stonewalls that, and so the only remedy there could be impeachment. We’ll see.

I’ve been listening to some pro-Trump talk radio and one of their big talking points is that the whistleblower wasn’t present during the phone call. They’re going to be ready with new talking points once the people who were there are brought in to testify, of course.

I’m gonna make the risky projection that this appearance gets gummed up by “exec privilege/nat security” blocks from you know who.

‘He’ eliminates about 60% of the population, as in it’s a guy vs. a gal.

It’s the spaghetti strategy - throw everything up on the wall and see what sticks.

They can try, but the facts are the facts and nothing they say will change those facts.

Thanks for the vote of confidence. It’s important to monitor these people sometimes.

It’s been rough, but I’ve forced myself to listen to an AM radio station that features some guy named Gallagher, who’s a Limbaugh clone, one Prager, another inciter, and some British guy.

I went on Gallagher’s web site and sent him the following:

"You’re getting rich by inflaming people’s emotions with simplistic observations of complicated issues. That’s good for you, but seriously bad for our nation. If you believe in the inciteful provocations you are pushing, you are fooling yourself. More likely, you are laughing all the way to the bank.

Force-feeding susceptible people with the idea that it’s us against them or we’ll go up in flames is all you have to offer. You act as if you have complete certainty about things, but really good people, of any political persuasion, don’t do that. Rather, they know enough to know there’s a lot they don’t know.

Enjoy your money. The fact you are making a lot is your justification, no doubt. If you had an iota of true religious conviction, you’d seek out some spiritual help and come clean."

It kind of doesn’t matter. Trump admitted it, Rudy admitted it, the WH Memo highlighted it, the Ukraine Official stated that they knew that the Biden Dirt deal was a condition of getting to talk to Trump

And the Complaint just got released! Off to the Races!

He’ll never see it. He’s too busy counting his money and meeting with his financial advisers.

Yep … am fascinated by all of the dynamics of the incremental unveiling of the details…
Pretty sure a number of people know who it is … it will be interesting to see how & when it comes out.

The Whistleblower complaint has been released to the public. Kind of early for popcorn but I raise my cup of coffee and say “Cheers”.

Imo, Ghouliani should be tried for breaking the Logan Act and Barr should be forced to recuse from all of this. Evil fuckers.

Kinda doubt that any of that will stop the WB at this point … Trump can try to bully … but WB knows there is NO turning back… the only way forward now is to flip the bully the bird …

Barr can be seen in the whistleblower’s complaint as covering up his own criminality by ‘barring’ the acting DNI head from testifying. Its a complete coverup with the head of the DoJ using his authority from allowing proper channels from reporting to Congress. Barr needs to be impeached.

Necessary work but, alas, after all these years it’s beyond me. Thanks. We need people like you.

The analyses I read (was it on TPM?) indicate that Coats is the whistleblower. It’ll be interesting to see him and others testify. I sure hope the various questioners can ask questions that cut to the mustard and are not going for their own personal soundbites. Unfortunately, attorneys often try to cover so many bases that they can get off track, or they are so used to generating billable hours that they dance around when they should just be direct.

General questions, such as “please tell us about it” and “who else has knowledge of these events” would provide a real good first cut, as opposed to what Charlie Rose used to do, which was demonstrate all manner of knowledge about a subject before finally getting to a question.
