The whistleblower whose complaint kicked off the House impeachment inquiry offered to answer Republicans’ questions under oath on Saturday night, according to the whistleblower’s attorney.
I wonder how long it will take GOP lawmakers to huddle and agree on their talking points for this new development? No way any of them speak with their own voice.
The lawyer said the whistleblower’s legal team has offered the majority and minority leaders of the House and Senate Intelligence committees to have the whistleblower answer their questions “in writing, under oath & penalty of perjury.”
Here is a preliminary list of questions from Republican committee members:
What is your name?
Where do you live?
Where is your place of employment?
How much did George Soros pay you to lie about the President’s phone call?
The offer seems fair to me, but it will not satisfy Devin or members of the Trump Party. They want the identity of the whistle blower exposed. Even if that happens, Trump cultists will not stop whining because nothing will satisfy them.
The WB is irrelevant at this point. If this offer keeps these bozos preoccupied and distracted, thus interfering with their constructing a coherent defense for Trump, while the Dems go on with an evidence based impeachment proceeding, I’m a happy guy. I’m a happy guy.
This is the big chance for Democrats to call folks like Nunes a crybaby and the same with Jordan because he can’t grandstand.
This reminds me of an anonymous survey that was taken by the company my wife works for about seven years ago.
Appalled and stunned by the unholy ferocity of the comments that named names, the owner of the company spent the next month fruitlessly trying to figure out who wrote what. He was obsessed with finding out stuff like who wrote that his favorite was “an incompetent asshole.” That is until the next shiny object came along.
WB offered to answer questions is WAY MORE THAN the Orange Criminal Impeachiness did who delayed and delayed answering questions from Mueller, which Mueller testified that Trump “Generally” LIED in his written responses!
Looks like they called Trump and the Republican’s bluff. That’s two talking points they’ve lost this week. Who knew it would be this hard to be corrupt?
