Do you think they had a weigh-in before getting on the bus? Because there is a noticible absence of the beer gut. They all look suspiciously cut or mid-weight, which I usually don’t see in photos. Like this was a carefully curated event for the cameras.

And, they would learn that civilizations ebb and flow, that there was an 11th-century Islamic empire that stretched from Spain to India, and that the Spanish invaders found Tenochitlan to be resplendent with paved streets and running water while Europeans wallowed in the mud.
