“The Trump administration has collected more than $13bn in revenues from Venezuelan oil sales this year, according to FT calculations, but has said almost nothing about what has happened to the money.”

Top US diplomat says Miliband was wrong to call Trump a ‘racist, misogynistic self-confessed groper’
New foreign secretary Ed Miliband was “wrong” to call Donald Trump a racist and misogynist in the past, the US president’s representative in the UK has said.
Warren Stephens said “hopefully his views have changed” since he labelled Trump a “groper” and a “racist” a decade ago, PA reported.

This isn’t helping Tesla, despite the 25% or so increase in sales - basically margins are plummetting. This mark to market will be reversed in Q3, unless Elmo manages to ram the merger through before then.
“Of Tesla’s $1.1 billion in GAAP net income this quarter, roughly $750 million came from a mark-to-market gain on its SpaceX stake. In other words, almost all of Tesla’s reported profit was a paper gain on a private company Musk controls — not money earned selling cars or energy. Actual income from operations was just $398 million, a 1.4% operating margin.”
$1.6B is not bad for annual profit, but that would give a $16B valuation vs the current $1T…
ETA that $146M or about a third of the profit was from regulatory credits that Elmo abolished.

This is, incidentally, the primary sin of Yale Law School.
