Why am I not surprised?
My mom mostly didn’t like to keep stuff – most of her family went way back to colonial New England, so maybe she felt sufficiently rooted. I had to talk her out of throwing away a couple heavy old velvet-covered family albums when she was selling her house, even though she was moving in with my sister and they had oodles of storage space! It was also hard to get her to talk about family history at all, even though long ago she had made recordings of a couple elderly relatives relating same.
After she died, however, my sister had me look through a box of jewelry I didn’t know Mom had, and my grandfather’s little art deco high school ring was in there. I had never seen it before. He was quite tall and broad-shouldered, but must have had skinny fingers as a teen, because it fits perfectly on my ring finger and I always wear it now.
How do you know she smells like patchouli?
She’s the right generation for it. But yeah, I don’t know, it just popped into my head and there it is.
Let me google that for him:
Trump’s notion that the Palestinians will trustingly ride off into the sunset is absurd. On the other hand, he did induce a number of Muslim Americans to trust him.
Precisely. I honestly don’t care what happens to them. They deserve what’s coming. Elections have consequences.
I’m neither right or left, but a friendly reminder: he (technically) voted for this,
If there’s someone who can win a statewide…
As did every other Dem, if you want to play that game.
He also voted for Bondi.
Stop the presses. His vote put her over the top.
No?
Oh, and she does actually have basic qualifications, so he could either give a performative “no” on someone where there’s not a ton of reason to oppose, or try to preserve some speaking terms with the other side for consequential votes.
Fine. Dems wanna commit collective suicide, I’m not happy to have to jump, but I’m sitting somewhere out there.
If our side ain’t smart or strategic, intents to continue supporting terrorists, yeah, this party is going Down.
There are many kinds of brain worms in the world. Am I supposed to be grateful that a Democratic (supposedly progressive) senator was able to reach a conclusion that most of us arrived at 2 minutes after the nominations were announced? Thanks, John - glad we could count on you.
Where is his wife? She seemed to know what she was doing.
She’s an election denier and she spent some of her meeting time ducking or refusing to answer.

I agree with a lot of what you say, but equating a vote against a provably corrupt AG to head up the DOJ is not equivalent to being pro-terrorist.
Asking, because I don’t live in Pennsylvania.
