Assuming that it is true that Musk’s Clown Corps is rewriting critical disbursement programming at Treasury, here’s a scenario. The new code will couple with an AI system. The AI will search the digital world for instances of criticism of the Trusk administration, or his Holiness the Emperor of the World, and relay that information to the Treasury software, which, with its new code, will then cut off any payments (SS, Medicare, etcetera) owed to the critic, and does whatever other mischief the college dropout programmer sticks in there that can destroy the critic’s economic life. I believe that scenario encompasses the entire mindset of the Republicans operating under the heels of Trusk. That and stealing everything that’s not nailed down and pulling out the nails from the rest of it.
I asked my mom this the other day. My parents’ goes through next Wednesday, but my dad’s credit union usually receives the file the Friday before (tomorrow), so we’ll see.

That’s an anecdote which tells us what we already knew. There are still people out there gloating about all of this. Yet, on balance, how many people voting for the F.F. are still happy with their choice? And what’s the trend with that data point? How long until it goes negative? Tangential but related: I finally unfriended a guy I knew vaguely in high school. He’s been a longtime Trumper, but we could usually comment on each other’s occasional posts about days gone by.
Yesterday he posted some kind of weird flowchart/spaghetti diagram showing how USAID was linked to the Clintons (Chelsea, too), the Bidens, David French (!), and Russell Moore (!!!). It was the last two that got me – Christians whose ideology I generally disagree with but who have been reasonable voices in this nightmarish time.
And then his friends chimed in with even more nonsense.

now I’m beginning to feel quite certain that Musk monkeyed with the voting machines in 2024 given how utterly unpopular the whole 2025 agenda is…

I haven’t put on my ‘Trump channeler’ hat for awhile, so I will venture 3 guesses:
- A large part of Mr. Trump letting Elon Musk run wild in the Federal agencies is to keep him occupied and out of Mar -a-Lago.
- His vendetta against the FBI isn’t just for revenge. Rather, he wants to cripple the agency most capable of investigating the current and future crimes of his administration.
- He wants to cripple the CIA because that “Russia thing” was never fully resolved, and he wants to be able to cuddle up to Vlad in peace.
C’mon - he just wants to wet his beak - a billion times a day.
