I learned long ago that corporal punishment is just wrong headed however much deserved
Our old cst was born feral and began his life in trauma seeing his mom and a sibling killed by a hawk. Gentleness and long (14 yrs worth) patience on my part has turned him into a fairly reasonable companion critter. Mrs darr is doing the same with this abandoned critter. Critter abuse as well as human abuse (like war for instance) gets me angry so I want it to stop.
