In Virginia the outer envelopes are stored for some period of time just in case they are needed for legal purposes. As you pointed out, however, once the ballots have been extracted and set aside for processing, there is no way to match a particular ballot to its mailer envelope. So, checking the envelopes in this case would just be a waste of time.

I started to watch that video but it is an hour and 10 minutes long. But I have seen enough. Your Western logic has convinced me and I now accept that President Trump has indeed won reelection. Now we just need to pin down every single one of those mealy mouthed Republican elected officials and make sure that they agree too.
No equivocating, like “President Trump has every right to Blah blah blah.” No. They must agree that he has in fact won. Only then can the Georgia senate runoffs be conducted fairly.

I spoke with my dear friend @realthirdreichnazi this morning. He is good spirits, as is Eva and his inner circle. They’re predicating the complaint on the fact that the percentage of rejected ballots for signature issues fell from 3.5 to .3. But leave to the Republicans to seize on a complaint that can’t be investigated.
For my part, I’m sure the education effort – the repeated emphasis on this is how you do it, make sure you sign here, make sure you use the outer envelope – simply worked.

Agree completely. The problem is his mental illness has been magnified, like gasoline on a fire. The oligarchic, antidemocratic republicans have infected the brains almost half the population with the disease. As @alohanature says, time is running out for humans. We have advancing COVID plus a highly malignant societal mental illness. If we don’t unify around our reduction of earthly abuse, bye bye ‘civil’ or uncivil society, whatever the choice may be.
