DOJ derp dee poo whaddya gonna do
Well done, J6 Committee. Really well done. One thing you gotta say about this committee is that they’ve identified a broad consensus from the left to much of the hard right that Trump broke the law. No one in Trump’s circle, including his family, bought his literal ‘BS’ fraud claims, yet Trump pushed ahead with the events that led to the insurrection.
The main audience for these hearings is the Garland DOJ. The J6 Committee made it very clear through direct testimony that the Barr DOJ believes Trump is guilty, period.
I also thought it was interesting that Milley basically admitted that Pence went around the chain of command to issue orders to get help to end the insurrection. The Deep State won and it was led by Mike Pence.
Another interesting tidbit: Trump’s election data guys told him on election night itself that he had lost. I think we’ve cleared the intent bar for Trump and eliminated any credible defense of ‘honest belief’.
The segments of a sober, woke Barr calling BS on Trump were jarring but effective.
Of course, there was Jared and his ‘pardons’. Ivanka sold her dad out.
Sometimes out the mouths of assholes comes the truth:
“I made it clear that I did not agree with the idea of saying that the election was stolen,” Barr said. “You can’t live in a world where the incumbent administration stays in power, based on its view, unsupported by specific evidence, that there was fraud in the election.
He’s surprisingly coherent when he’s coming off the Tuesday Ribfest meat-sweats from Golden Corral.
There was a lot of money to be made there, you know.
Someone sounds a little terrified. Cruz is shameless sociopath opportunist who will lie about anything at any time.
Thursday night is bagpipe night.
I think the price offered masty gaetz for a pardon was 2 million and change. Of course, the ones offering were likely grifting him, but that is what they thought the going price was.
Who knows how to summon the furies?
As opposed to what, exactly? Kinda rich, coming as it does from a leading producer of political theatrics.
Here furie, furie, furie.
Operate the electric can opener.
Cruz is an asshole and a coward. I’m surprised he even gets elected in Texas … when there are far more qualified and less cowardly assholes.
